  1. That looks awesome! More info please.
  2. Nice use of studded differential casing and a 12 tooth gear! How are chains holding up?
  3. Those rims RULE. I wonder if chromebricks has all the needed parts
  4. I think 9398/41999's chassis a great official eample of a sturdy build. And as others said, if you want something fast, reliable and efficient KISS, if you want something complex in order to be complex than its tricky and usually less reliable (example automatic gearboxes with many gears..)
  5. This is a very simple locking mechanism which might come handy in doors or simillar. The axle 4,5 or 8 with stop's stop part is used to lock into the connector with a bit of force. It holds quite nicely, try it guys...
  6. Sure I can make a video, but it wont walk as it should... Maybe I'm gonna make an 8 legged one, but with simpler mechanism.
  7. You mean suspension, right? There was a topic where members posted their axles but cant find it right now...
  8. Use such a steering system that doesnt stall the M motor, like worm gear, or clutch gears.
  9. I find it interesting you used Front wheel drive, Yeeah a video would be awesome.
  10. I built this walker with 4 legs. Each leg uses one cylinder to lift/lower the leg and a second cylinder to move the legs sideways. Also each cylinder has a valve linked to it, so it can move the valve when the leg functions reach their end positions. The problem I have is how to 'wire' the tubing so that the legs are synchronized...I can easily make each leg walk on its own but due to uneven nature of pneumatics this means most of the time only the leg with least pneumatic resistance moves and the other 3 are stationary.
  11. Very realistic and true to the original. Nise use of newish rims with old foam tyres too!
  12. Also if you use M motor with return to center and steer for long periods of time, than the stalled steering motor draws a lot of current, leaving nothing for RC motor.
  13. Thats a good idea, gonna make it into the batpod
  14. I see you are getting there nicely :) Cant wait to see this model IRL
  15. Really cute! Good work buddy.
  16. Here's a first working protoype of a motorized motorbike. Reminds me of batcycle...
  17. For now because the RC motors got pretty hot and I dont want to ruin them.
  18. Looks really good :) One sugguestion. Fix the 12:20 axle gear ratio on the axle inputs and use U joints. This way there will be less friction :)
