  1. My deepest sorrow.... I dont have anything else to add...no words...
  2. Whats the point of diffs? You connected them totally wrong to the axles.
  3. Wow. What a good looking, yet complex model!
  4. Here's an idea... A 15L beam with holes that go from all 4 sides...You can use half pins and pins to make cross section attachments.
  5. For mecanum wheels you can always make an omni directional forklift :)
  6. What if you use normal gears and a 4L bar?
  7. Is the 4th gear braced at all, or is just for fun there? I dont see any real advatages comapred to the new one except the higher gear ration.
  8. Who cares if its mehcanically correct or not as long as it crawls great :)
  9. This is top notch mechanical engineering... Just...crazy!
  10. First time I heard of this...Maybe twisting the model a bit so the axles loose grip might work?
  11. Simple, turn it on steer the loader and turn it off. No power, no return to center.
  12. IMO this would be a perfect small pneumatic model...
  13. Just a 2L long plastic parts with axlehole, with such outer shape it fits snuggly in the dirt crusher wheel
  14. An adapter for dirt crusher wheels to a normal axle would be nice :)
  15. Yes, you need to use a piece of aluminum foil to short circuit the connector.
  16. 3 or 4 knob gears if you need lots of torque? or a blocked differential :)
  17. Also those 2L axle would eventually slip into the Cv joints...
  18. You can easily switch the polarity on he old 9V system by rotating the bricks with wires 180 degrees. I already drove this thing, you know :)
  19. A test chassis with 4 RC motors, 2 RC units, all wheel drive, all wheel steering and suspension. Works....meh meh....Its fast, but steering radius is a bit high. Also the CV joints are very unreliable and tend to pop out. I think a simpler, lighter model with only 1 RC unit and rear wheel drive is better. If anyone is interested here is how the chassis looks like: And a partially finished LDD model: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/zblj/Trial/halo.lxf
  20. No with differential and 5x7 frame! Should fit perfectly! Gonna draw it in LDD soon. Here's the idea. The pink beams represent the new suspension parts. There are two variations: You could proboably use 3x3 L parts instead of conectors in the next idea though:
  21. Ot shorter, 5L steering links :) EDIT Why not just use the new steering arms as steering links?
  22. You can make narrow suspesion tatra-styled.
  23. But thats really prone to slipping and its very messy and weak.
