Anyone else think the CUUSOO process is a bit to slow. I mean like the Mars rover is still in review, it's taking longer than it took Nasa to reach Mars? The BTTF car has been over a year since it achieved the 10k votes? I wonder whether the traction of all those 10000 people who vote, might have lost interest by the time it's produced? Lego just seen a bit slow reviewing and deciding, I'm sure it's not an easy process, but........I'm sure it could be quicker? -

This Monday gone in the UK on Shipping Wars on History, It was Season 2, Episode 3, One of the guy's had to move some giant Lego statues/models to a museum, it does really annoy me when people call the plural of Lego, Legos....errrr -
So when you think about it, they could also give you a Guinness World Record for owning the most blue track in the world!

I think it's more amazing so much of that blue track exists! That alone should be part of the record! I mean 520 cross tracks, I only have 1 broken one in my collection. I mean, there is only 75 available on Bricklink

Lego Brand Store Calendars for 2013

Anyone know if these calendars are the same as used in the UK/Europe? Are we going to get the free Iron Man polybag starting Thursday? -
A Post Office or a Bank would be my preference for the next set as well, the Fire Brigade was not one of my past favourites, so although I'd buy a Police Station, I'm not excited by it.

I think the issue with Creator sets, you pick them up in store and think, they feel heavy, all those lovely Lego bricks, then you get them home and open them up and 60% of the contents is the instructions manuals...... -

Looking through the building instructions, apart from the sticker sets, it appears those light bluish grey doors are going to be a bit of a challenge for anyone planning to build this without going on the factory tour!

Not sure if anyone has looked closely at the Forklift in the new Cargo set, but appears to use a new moulding, maybe Lego have done away with the spring mechanism, it now looks like it uses a rubber band to lift the forks?

Interesting looking set? Looks a bit like an old Fairground or Circus truck, not sure there is enough contents to justify it being the factory tour set, but it's nice. If of course all the bricks are printed rather than stickers, this would then be an awesome set

This is one of the most amusing posts I've read in a long time, lots of heated debate! I like the minifigs from the licensed sets, but I have to be honest the actual sets themselves are fairly lame, just look at the Turtles sets this year. Turtles = amazing, but the rest of the sets just appear to be making up the piece count....... Anyway, I certainly back a Lego City Zoo, it seems a no brainer for Lego to do this, I'm not sure why they have not done this in the past, they have nearly all the required moulds. I guess we waited 30 years for a Lego farm, so anything is possible. It needs to be a collection of 6-8 sets, a theme so to speak. Paul

mmmmm, I'm not sure this strictly can be called a Lego Room, it appears to be a Bedroom, where you have managed to clear a tiny space to build Lego? I'd build them in the order Lego released them! They all have their building merits

It fits in really well, maybe a third floor in the future would make the roof line fit in with the other modulars Seeing all the modulars together, it's times like this the 800x600 rule should be abolished so we can see the models in all their glory!

Are you using a simply oval of track? You have not built a reversing loop which has created an "illegal" layout and a short circuit?

Obviously the OP did not use a Go Pro camera, but with something like a Go Pro, you can set it to take an image every 30 seconds, I guess you could then stitch the images together quite quickly to make a time lapse video, although without controlling when the image is taken, you would end up with moving and blur hands coming in and out the shot I guess which is not the case in the above film.
