  1. Seriously, why does tlg treat the costumers on both sides of the big water so differently in both prices and releas date? Are they selling more in the US?
  2. wouldn't even want to thing about what it may cost in the benelux region or even finland, sometimes it seems to me that lego thinks of us as dumbasses btw, snowing here right now!
  3. You can build mocs there but not play it yet, there are actually a whole bunch mocs located there already
  4. quite an influx of new members, great welcome everybody! guys, your really have to get lake town chase, I think it's the best Mitgardian parts pack ever, although I really hate TLG for making it 60 € in Europe vs. the 50 $ you guys across the big water have to pay for it
  5. Haha great sny, I knew Mitgardia had to be your home!Looking forward to your mocs! Take this DaMaximus: Also a warm welcome to jodocus!
  6. I build the sets i buy for my kids and smash the ones i buy for myself or much rather never put them together in the first place. However, i do have a hart time taking my mocs apart. That said, if you are a builder and not a collector you should take them apart, but don't smash them, you might break parts!
  7. Talked to my Dealer yesterday and found out that he's got ten metric tons of bricks in store maybe i can get a bl deal for the European goh members
  8. just read that lake town chase is going to be 59 € in Germany. So once again TLG tells us that they hate us Europeans! I was gonna get one, but am considering it again ... Acutally, this whole pricing issue with the licensed themes is why I hate the fleshies so much
  9. spectacular once again! Really like how the color of your walls transitions from dark tan to white, guess I will have to get into stuff like that too. BTW, do you still need the Tonto? I can see his raven!
  10. so how come you havn't got any shipbuilding included in your programm?
  11. seems like a hot place, do you live in Arizona? (hey dude it's eurobricks, we use celsius and meters ) I really like how you found your style and keep expanding on it, lovely stuff
  12. a lot of cool stuff, great action, great snow and I really like how you incorporated your ideas form phase I into this!
  13. so far no time limit, just keep on building! BTW, does anyone know why hench got banned?
  14. lots of cool new stuff guys!
  15. thanks for the positive feedback, it got me going to finish more stuff, and lego addict that I am, I simply can't resist clicking to bricks together for too long, Anyway, I started a new ship: tried to finish module IV and ran out of bricks, started a new wall module (not sure what's going to be there) and started a sorting system, wonder when I ever get to do the stuff I have to do for work ... @gideon: Not really sure whether those are lugs, looks more like some forums to me. So it might be Belug for me then, who knows. Kinda strange with so many Germans around here, but it's the people I got to know. As for the brick place, it's kinda like a physical brinlink shop (there is also a web one) so I go there and tell my dealer wich bricks I need. We then discuss the price and most of the time both of us end up happy BTW, I sorta copied your collecting system and have run out of space already ... @infernum: why evolution in "... "? @sk: yeah mate, you'll get to see the pics soon, but light was really shitty these last days, and for some dumb reason I left my white cardboard out in the rain ... @sebeus and sny: more water modules with some small middle age style vessels and boats would make some really nice additions to this!
  16. great event, great layout and I'm really temted to contribute something next year too ... glad I had the opportunity to see it in real life, but too bad I didn't get to meet Bonaparte in person
  17. Great Topic, should be fixed along all those other nice tutorials!
  18. hey sny, I'M sure if you, sebeus and dm joined forces you could build some add ons to this. I think it'd be cool. As for joining a lug, I have actually researched that matter in recent days, but didn't really find anything suitable in Germany. Not sure why that is ... Anyway, as long as I got this place in town, I'm good to go with decently priced bricks!
  19. Fantasy era Trolls and Wolf Pack!
  20. That's the spirit mate! Yellow Suprimacy!
  21. thanks guys, glad you like it! @sebeus: yes, the water will expand, and DM will have to adjust the water around his modules as it ran perpendicular to mine. Getting all these blue bricks is a pain in the butt. Acutually, I will scrap my james cook project and build another caravell or carrack. @gideon: my wife doens't want me to take this apart either, so she had to agree on me having to get new bricks This means however, that I will only be able to enter categories A and B in the current challenge.
  22. right on dude, cool vid (funny language ) so when will you finally be posting Everlast in the place it belongs to?
  23. Alright, so I've decided to keep my city layout together and simply add more modules to it: My kids threatened me to leave me if I ever took it apart. So what's a man to do? Anyway, I'm not going to open more threads anymore but simply add on to this thread and show how the thing evolves over time. Link to Flickr Album Current Status - 4 waterfront modules, 2 behind the wall modules, two water modules with two ships. One Kaliphlin embassy by DM: Modules: Waterfront I - done: Waterfront II - done: Waterfront III - done: Waterfront IV - done: Behind the Wall II - done: Behind the Wall III - done: Behind the Wall III - WIP Water III + "Arandela Negra" - done: Water IV + "Rose of Asgard" - done: Water V + New Ship - WIP Third row III - WIP future plans: behind the wall I (big tower) Anyway, let me know what you think. I'll add the missing pics later this weeks and keep you updated on whatever else I'm adding to this. As for the UoK program, I already have 2 university degrees, I don't really have to worry
  24. haha, great to see you here! And yes, I'm glad I got to take some pics, but that's because I didn't display my stuff on three different tables And good to hear, that you'll be joining Mitgardia! @DM:
  25. really great moc gunman, quite a few things I really like about it. Starting with the water and so on ... also extremely nice back of the build, wish I had that many brick bricks!
