  1. alright, some pics I took our table: DaMaximus at our table: at the pirate table: Thorshaven closeup: small thing I build representig Nocturnus: some kid studying our layout (really my favourite pic):
  2. I really wonder why everybody is calling half timbered structures "tudor style". I mean the Tudors are first of all English and secondly more Renaissance than Middle ages. So why limit yourself that much? Half timbered structures can be found all over Europe! BTW, interesting article on the whole matter that I think could be included as an excellent source of inspiration.
  3. Amazing work SK everything looking extremely well done and thought out! I really like that half timbered section on the one tower, as it reminds me of my cliff house. Well done, sir!
  4. well, it's six fully fleshed out modules of Thorshaven + 2 ships and one module and one ship by dm, may seem a bit small but that was due to the size of our table, wich was gigantic Mpya Stedor was there as well and also some other great stuff by dm. Originally we had anticipated more GoH work to be displayed, but another member couldn't show up due to personal problems. Next year however, we hope that we can display some more and bigger layouts and also hope that more Dutch, Belgian, German and French GoH members can make it to Antwerpen. Anyway size doesn't always matter
  5. after a 4 hour drive back home from Antwerpen where we (DM and I) had a lot of fun representing the Guilds of Historica at the Brick Mania event. Thanks DaMaximus and all those crazy Belug members for their hospitality and open welcome. Pics later ...
  6. Chilling with dm, drinking Beer and building some cool stuff ...
  7. holy crap sk, i'm really excited now!
  8. joroena, you posted this in the history forum not in the guilds of historica subforum where it belongs! But I'm sure your friendly mocs will help to move it there ... As for the pics, I use flickr too, you just need to klick on the pic, choose 800*600, copy the adresse, and voila, there you go:
  9. hey jeroena, i like you build and there is some good stuff in it. However, this is the wrong thread and also, could you please post single pics? My I pad doens't read those flash animations ...
  10. kai, it's really cool how you shell out those microfig builds, awesome stuff! Amazing how much you're getting out of a handfull of bricks!
  11. hah, interesting to hear that the pins don't work really well. I'm currently experiencing the same thing with my Thorhaven moc, were sometimes I really have to use quite some force to get the modules snapping into each other. Interesting idea on how to solve this! gee, 600 km is a long way! I'll be going 400 km to Antwerpen this weekend, and see if the things dm and I planned work out
  12. I have no clue who gave you the title but it's not a title to be proud of!
  13. This was pretty much the only way to get one of my characters into spire territory without betraying Mitgardia!
  14. he hasn't died yet, he just got kidnapped!
  15. in case you wonder what happened to Eric Grimmson after he had discovered the Shraliek:
  16. I'm not quite sure if I understand this correctly, are we to post all freebuilds or just the ones since the end of Book I? How about those that were done for community builds or guild specific challenges?
  17. no problem dude, and of course you can use these helmet for the varlyrian forces that are currently active in Nocturnus!
  18. hey mr.b first of all I'd like to say that I like your moc, they way the you build the wall and the gate itself is pretty cool too. Some things though: The walls of Valholl community build actually done, we're now having the landscapes of Mitgardia community build. And, the mariot helmets are actually more or less reserved for Varlyria, Mitgardians wouldn't wear them as some Varlyrian renegade sell swords are currently molesting our people!
  19. Mayday, this is so great, best Lego ship I've ever seen! I really like the amount of realism you put into your mocs, I think this is skill few could possibly match!
  20. it would have been nice if you had done II before III, but oh well, I guess we can live with that ... I really like how you're currently really active shaping the general look of Mitgardia, keep up this excellent work
  21. great idea, quite an iteresting idea for farm phase one. I really like it
  22. @infernum: and the coolest thing is that we're not only talking but are building too. The mcb and aom are a big sucsess!
  23. First time in recorded goh history that we're having the most posts!
  24. Are there any other guilds?
