  1. Hey guys, thanks a lot for all the praise!
  2. @deathleach: all you have to know about prices is that you as an American alwaysget the cheapest deal! Sometimes even half of what it may cost in the cheapest European region (e.g. Lone Ranger coach was 35$ in the US and 50 € in Germany!)
  3. yet another masterpiece by you and what I like especially about your mocs is how you always include some sort of power functions detail. Really like this!
  4. hah, things are heating up, great! However, all you scurvy plagued landlubbers have no chance competing with us! on a different note, although 250 € sounds great, it think it'd be kind of unfair for the second and third to go empty handed, why not break the price pot into smaller stakes?
  5. Sebeus and I are a team!
  6. sounds great!
  7. oh yeah it does, it just got overlaped by the AoM a bit! So you just say where in Mitgardia this is and add it to the mcb thread!
  8. really nice scene, would have made a great entry in the mitgardian community build too!
  9. no, I took her apart so I could start on the caravel redonda. I actually decided to fully concentrate medieval ships as there aren't too many good mocs from that particular era.
  10. oh boy, you're really pumping out those mocs, awesome!
  11. really excellent ruin infernum. You also seem to have solved some of your photography isssues. Nice one!
  12. @sk: no, I actually meant the upper story. Yours is actually smaller than the stone base, it should be overhanging it though as you can see in this picture (of my hometown):
  13. hey sk, nice one once again. Good to see your starting to move away from castle into the more civilian aspects of towns. One thing I'd like to improved though is to give the hose more overhang, especially the black and red one could use some more of that!
  14. yeah, this is really great. Totally nice half timbered section, nice angles and as always a nice and classy feel to it. You really got it going there Jodocus!
  15. Ah, sebeus! When you told me in Antwerp you were done doing ships I was really kind of dissapointed as I really like your ships. Especially the smaller ones, exactly the sort of stuff I'd build if I hadn't gotten into carracks and caravels. Anyway, a lot of good stuff to be seen here, some of which also represent some of the experience I gained building my ships which actually only use two midsection. I too, use only a handfull of hinges and I also prefer to use smaller scale windows and doors. So really nice ships. Some things I'd improve: I don't really like that you can see studs between the red and the black section, do you think you can put some plates in there? And, I'd also move away from the techinc bricks to attach the shrouds, instead I started to use half fences as you can see in this pic: anyway, looking forward to more ships from you
  16. well thanks guys, I know this aint much, but I guess it does for a category A. My main aim was to create dynamics with those really stiff dwarf legs, kinda hard to do. As for Eric Grimmson, this was the only way I could get one of my characters (all being fierce drow haters) to fight on the side of the spire, wich I would never have chosen voluntarily ... and, you have to excuse Eric, he's getting a little old!
  17. my catagory A entry: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=89834
  18. Eric Grimmson got captured and is forced to fight on the side of the spire!
  19. After discovering the Shraliek near the Rapids of No Return, Eric Grimmson had been following the little creature for hours now. Every now and then he had been able to catch a glimps of the Goblin and had started to wonder "Why would anyone be afraid of these guys, they surely do not look harmful at all" And so he started to become more and more imprudent during his persuit, trampling through the undergrowth. What he totally forogt was that he was getting very close to the Nocturnian border and, having been away from Valholl for a few weeks now, he was totally unaware of the trouble that was brewing on the other side. All of the sudden the little man simply stopped running and Grimmson hurried up to fetch the creature. Really sure that the little man meant no harm for him, he got closer when all of the sudden he heard a strange female voice hissing "For the Spire!" And so Eric Grimmson got captured by the Shraliek who now dragged him into Nocturnus where they forced him to fight on the side of the Black Spire. To be continued ...
  20. I'd say yes, since it's been around since antiqutiy, but then again I actually don't have anything to say here anyway
  21. all kinds of auxilliary structures to get the hull and everything as stable as possible so the ships don't break apart during the ride on Belgian motorways
  22. using these flowers as snow is just such a great idea, your definetely expanding of what can be done in the North!
  23. I really like your minifig editing, seems like I have to get more into that as well!
  24. Nice one, really good to see how you're using those dark green plates as ground!
