You might as well start mocing tough. Might save you some emotional pain!
-
What a great moc. It just screams happiness and is such a contrast to your Avatar that one can't help but laugh. I also think that this is a great letter of application for the Guilds of Historica

There are definetely some nice features in this, like the bow section or the cabin. Anyway, I think for a Galleon it is too short and a tiny bit too chubby.
-
Nice one, and great so see something from you that's more than light bley in color So, are we going to see the rest of the fort too?
-
@32: there are currently so many races that we could use some sort of index indeed.

It's just not that easy to win in Seattle ... !

A truely awesome dragon, what a great entry in the contest!
-
Having lived in Seattle for some two years, there is only one team to cheer for tonight: Go Hawks!!
-
Awesome Gatehouse MK, most likely your best moc yet! It's really great to see how the AoM challenges and improves the Mitgardian mocers at such an enormous rate!
-
Actually, it's quite an interesting story to read. I have one problem though, slavery is officially prohibited in Mitgardia!

So are you the moral authority now when it comes to Lego LOTR?
-
Awesome rockwork and of course the forced perspective build is most likely the best of its kind, at least of the ones I've seen so far!

Book II Challenge 1 C: Recruiting a Cyclops Tribe
kabel replied to Gideon's topic in Guilds of Historica
Gee gideon, this looks really close to what I had in mind when I started my building my shraliek camp. I just didn't have the bricks and time to go all the way with it. That said, I really love this moc. The palisades, the huts, the tree, everything just looks extremely good (as always). -
@martin: you should deeplink some of those pics as they are absolutely spectacular!

Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
kabel replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
Welcome to the North Admiral Khan, besides the AoM, there also is a Mitgardian Community build in which we try to create what Mitgardia actually looks like in general. It's called the "Landscapes of Mitgardia Community Build" (MCB II) but unfortunately most have forgotten about. -

extended deadline = more work for the indexer, thanks Z! -
Hey there Admiral Khan, you should check our History Guides and Indices Thread. I'm sure you'll find some inspiration there!

Dr. Cogg, we can't see your pictures as the files aren't public yet, please deeplink them!

ANNOUNCING: Guilds of Historica Book II: The Civil War
kabel replied to ZCerberus's topic in Guilds of Historica
great idea, but I first I need to finish the index, kinda confusing with all these entries and comments today. BTW, if any of you do not see this sign: at the tops of their entry I may have probably forgotten to index your moc. So please let me know via PM. The publication date of the index will be set by the Mods once I'm done, so stay tuned! -
ANNOUNCING: Guilds of Historica Book II: The Civil War
kabel replied to ZCerberus's topic in Guilds of Historica
I'm currently compiling a new index for book two and in order to not get lost I'm putting in the "indexed" logo. -
thanks mates! Getting all those lime green bricks was a pain in the butt, as, so far, I've used most of them as supporting bricks somewhere in Thorshaven. So I had to open all the modules and substitute the lime green bricks with other colors while trying not to break everything apart. I now value the color way more! @Z: glad you like it and are not complaining about the photography. I really tried hard to live up to your standards this time! The initial credit for the Orcs (Shraliek) have to be given to LD though. I've just come up with a few more combos.

Really nice try, really close to what Lego would do! Minas Tirith without the beacon, are you guys kidding? I think it's the best part and an absolute must!
-
Really nice scene you made here! And since this is your first build in the South, I think you've done a tremendous job of catching the feeling of a hot desert town. Right on dude!
