  1. That's a brilliant update πŸ™ŒπŸ‘πŸ€žπŸ˜
  2. In the format you build, (~length and width) I'd advice you to stay with 1-2 standard 2-axle PuP train motors. That will look better with that "toy-ish" original Lego building style, and the playability is so much better. A "real" 3-axle technic Lego based bogie with a separate PuP large motor in the loco cabin will need much more length/space/volume than you currently have. Your coaches would also need a rebuild to look appropriate as a consequence. Also bare in mind a 3-axle bogie demands more tweeking and maintenance.
  3. Very nice and realistic bridge πŸ‘πŸ™Œ
  4. @Lok24 I created the custom program in PuP app yesterday, acc to your instructions/proposals and it works perfectly. Thanks again for your kind advice πŸ™Œ
  5. Agreed, I do plan to use the PuP app, for sure. But its interesting to see what alternative solutions people have come up with. Trainheads are part of a very creative community.
  6. Now that's a clever hack. Well done.
  7. Thanks, I'm aware of this option, but not ready to walk along this path... I prefer a PuP app based solution.
  8. Very nice designs, but my favorite is, without doubt, the large couchette car 😍
  9. Great model, all through...πŸ™ŒπŸ‘
  10. Great, thanks a million βœ…πŸ‘
  11. @Lok24. Thanks for the links, I will study them carefully ! πŸ™ŒπŸ€— @Lok24. Is it also possible to just have one slider, but control both hubs simultaneously?
  12. Thanks @Lok24. So if I understand you correct, I need to write my own custom program ? I thought using the Lego PuP remote wasn't possible when using large motors....that it would only be a on/off full throttle ...?(!)
  13. This is right now a hypothetical question, but I'm in process of designing two Powered Up locomotives that I want to run simultaneously. Loco 1: white 2ch PuP hub + large PuP motor. Loco 2: same as above. Option 1: Most convenient would be to use the specific PuP app Lego designed for the crocodile, but is it possible to use that app for "two crocs" simultaneously? Option 2 would be to code a custom app ..can someone please share some screenshots of your program, if you have done that? I'm merely looking for a simple speed control so I'd guess such coding should be easy.... Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
  14. Interesting to hear more about the design and building process . Thanks for sharing!
  15. Good one πŸ€—πŸ‘πŸΎπŸ€ž Very nice interior as well !!
  16. I needed to change and update a PuP app project today, and I only succeeded after looking into a few parts of your excellent instruction. @idlemarvel Thank you very much again for the work you have put in to this. πŸ™ŒπŸ‘
  17. Very nice and professional build
  18. Yeah agree with M_slug357... It's a creative use of parts, but it doesn't look like a tanker car....
  19. Thanks for sharing your challenge. It's been fun following the thread πŸ‘πŸ™ŒπŸ€—
  20. If you look at Done:s post from March 13, it is stated : coaches, tender and locomotive, all are 8-wide.
  21. I also lean towards the theory TLG will replace the train motor in the near future. Polar train might be the last set using the current part number 6214559, hence they avoid stocking/selling additional train motors as set 88011.
  22. Really strange that the train motor is "retired". I mean, it is de facto included in the brand new Polar train !!! Can anyone give a plausible explanation?
