  1. I did testing with pneumatic cylinders, but removed videos to re-edit them. Results: Small Cylinder Test Results Large Cylinder Test Results I guarantee that these results are ok, in a few days video will be up and confirm.
  2. Ok, I will follow this very closely. I am building one Liebherr Crane in the very similar scale (1:13) for the last three years, and I know the challenges. I am glad to have one more big crane project to observe. 1. awesome! 2. I am so intrigued by all the mechanisms in the crane's carrier, but at the same time, it looks organized. 3. Why no suspension at the end? 4. Steering is greatly executed. I am aiming to the four steering modes, will see how it will work at the end. 5. Boom is a little bit too wide. LTM 1100 is 2.5 meters wide, and in this scale, boom should be around 6 studs wide, your is 9. But having three telescopic sections is cool :) 6. Boom cylinders looks and works great. I have developed similar using strings, cant wait to compare them. You just need to reduce the XL motor 3 times. 7. Does telescoping works ok? 8. Do you think gearbox will survive the weight?
  3. Hey, great start! I just saw this topic! What? You are prioritizing car over tracked loader! :)
  4. I am on side with the others who said that pirating is bad, and we all know the reasons. Also, I am aware that full control is impossible. As I see, most of the people in this topic are from well-develop countries, but I would like to ask anyway: 1. Do you use genuine version of MS Windows, MS Word, Adobe After Effects or Vegas Pro, Photoshop...? 2. Did you ever download/watch non-genuine version of any movie? 3. Did you ever download/play non-genuine version of any PC video game or Android game? 4. Did you ever download/listen non-genuine versions of any song? I am aware that it is not a common subject to speak about, but I am sure many people, from countries where Piracy control is not fully adopted yet, are regularly using non-genuine-pirated software, and therefore also use pirated versions of the EBooks. Nothing new about this, it will happen all the time. Again, I am all about respecting other peoples work and effort, I dont care so much about ebooks, but I would not like to happen to Movies or Programs.

  11. Update of the LEGO room-working place: After more than two weeks, i have finished sorting all the parts from the mocs and Bricklink into new metal cabinets I got at incredible price. I am very pleased, and hopefully sorting and finding parts in the future will be quicker. More to read of building this room from basement wreck to this: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=90965&st=0
  12. Well, as I said, i know you from technic forum, where both of us post, we don't know each other personal. Sorry for confusion.
  13. Dont put model under the water, you will get rust on the cylinders Pneumatic cylinders will always drop when left under weight, not much you can do, except to periodically pump air.
  14. Did you look at this: Original rules New rules

  22. Thanks again, guys :) Right now, model is still in one piece and it will remain so until new pneumatics are released...then I will destroy the machine, build it again, but converted to the pneumatics, and probably make instructions. So, i don't have any pictures not already shown. Beware that the base on the WIP pictures are 4th version, while final build use 6th version, which is by far the best and it has implemented rods that keeps tracs parrallet to each other. So best options would be to wait until pneumatics got online, or we can try to solve this via pm, but you will need 9 more posts.
