  1. But since it is wasteland, and all kind of dangers are lurking from all sides, in "normal" mode, is it allowed for a vehicle to have some basic essential wasteland-ready equipment, like bars to protect windows, plate-plow? to protect radiator, or some fancy spikes? As I understand wasteland, it is hostile environment set in wide open area, with few rural trading posts-small towns. So anyone, whether being in town or at the openness, would not be looked strange having these protection installed? Nothing for offense-attack, just some basic protection.
  2. I dont get it... People are complaining on this forum that there are bunch of useless topics, and you open another one about Lego flying, even though you have your own Airbus topic, and bunch of other, proper topic about flying. There is no need for this foundation topic, as we have a lot of topics covering that. All you had to do is make a little bit of search.. http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=96863 http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=77519 http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=60737
  3. You have lots of pics in the link in the first post.
  4. The excavator you linked is build in minifig scale. Truck in this topic is approx 1:20 scale.
  5. I dont like the use of non-Lego tires, but I must say this moc looks awesome with them! Very well executed, and great photos!
  6. You dont have to quote all the pictures. Eh, it does not matter if this is Model Team, Creator or Technic, I was showing it is possible to build nice curvy shapes with studs, cos martijnnab said it would be imaginable to build something like eldorado in studs.
  7. I am not offended, neither my post was intended to offend you. Pictures that I posted are not my models, they are references to your statement that you cant think of building a structure like your Eldorado, with studded beams. I posted them to show some examples where it is possible, maybe they look better than your car, maybe they dont, to each their own, but it is possible to create such shapes with studs, too, and IMO, they look much better and more organic with studs than with studless.
  8. I strongly disagree. Provide some examples, please. I can.
  9. The only way to make redemption for yourself is to create this contest very soon! :)
  10. Of course it is not forbidden. No one could forbid you to build something with your own bricks. I like it, btw.
  11. Do not fill them with water! Metal rod inside the cylinder will corrode!
  12. You should have posted this in Community forum. Its a proper place for this and it would probably draw more results.
  13. Maybe it would be easier to just strenghten the chassis with more layers of beams or liftarms. But at the end, twisting chassis is fine for ofroad.
  14. Most of the length, the chassis is just one beam thick. If you put any kind of body, it will twist very much.
  15. Hey everyone! Can somebody please tell me is there any LEGO stores in Florence? I am traveling to this city, and will probably be interested to look through a LEGO store, if the city has any. I searched online, found some, but I would like to hear from you guys. Any help greatly appreciated! Thanks!
  16. Two out of three of your questions have been answered in the first line of Paul's post.
  17. I would go with the full suspension. It is more realistic and more complex.
  18. I would not get back, but I am thankful that we have both systems available. I like studded much more than studless, but great builds come as a result of mixing these two.
  19. Those are 62.4 wheels.
  20. It would take too much writing, and no one could do better job describing it than TechnicBricks blog, so just click here!
  21. Nice way to get to them via common interest! Welcome to EB!
  22. Welcome and have fun!
  23. Welcome. There are lots of friendly people on Train forum who can hep you!
