  1. Welcome to EB!
  2. See you at Technic forum then! Welcome!
  3. Welcome to the forums!
  4. No, they should not change size of the boxes. They pay big bucks for marketing researches and they presumably know what and why they are doing. Tell me, when you walk into the store, what impresses you more (and ultimately drive you to buy one): Shoe box size with 42039 on it, or box the size of the flat tv, with 42039 on it?
  5. Welcome and have fun!
  6. Yeah, sometimes (always) people does not understand our hobby, so sometimes it is best not to tell. Too bad, as they dont understand how complex, rewarding and great this hobby is. Welcome!
  7. Welcome to the forums!
  8. I cant provide links, but you can search them in the technic and model team forum. From my memory, Lasse D posted very nice model team cement mixer in this topic: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=58390&st=0 Regarding 6x6x hauler, try checking Han's site: http://www.designer-han.nl/lego/articulated_hauler_6x6.htm These are just examples, there are plenty more in the forums...
  9. Very nice! Welcome!
  10. They last enough. My 8868 still works perfectly after 20 years (it lost a bit on shininess, but it was my fault for putting all the parts in one big bag) Cracking parts is not good news, but It can be mostly avoided if parts are sorted and not under pressure or tension or whatever....any force.
  11. I remember this marvelous creation from before! I was blown away! Those curves, lines and overall look...wow. Did anyone here happen to play Jaguar game on Amiga 500 maybe? That was one of my favorites, and I learned a lot about XJ220 back then. Sry for offtopic.
  12. Ver clean lines and design! I like it a lot! Not sure that many people like this type of machinery, but for sure you made me and jorgeopesi happy! :)
  13. Here is inspiration. From more known manufacturers, Spierings and Liebherr are producing these types of cranes, not very common, though. THe real ones do have a hook instead of the clams. Spierings: Liebherr:
  14. Probably new video of crane and truck.
  15. Great little helper you got there :) Very nice video, i guess it took much time and effort to make it.
  16. I am not familiar with Lambos, but dont they have motorized retractable spoiler?
  17. They dont have to. Nor they have unlimited freedom, regarding budget (parts), time limits and specific theme. They used some solutions found on MOCs, though. In my opinion, mocs dont have copyright. Crediting original builder is the most you can get.
  18. 1. Convert my TC6 entry to fully rc pneumatic version. 2. Convert (build again-improve) my large scale JCB 3cx backhoe loader. Cant wait! 3. Build large scale, but smaller model of JCB JS Excavator.
  19. It depends on the model of the crane, size of the truck...for this size of the truck, it is possible to have cranes that have 10 or more extendable sections 10x. For this Lego model, i think it is fine.
  20. Sry, I wrote in this topic, it may have been in general 2015 topic, but it was mentioned. Always nice to see new part :)
  21. Yeah, it was discussed in this topic.
  22. Wow, probably one of the top 3 best Lego motorcycles. All parts are Lego? TIres with strings are the best part of it, so is the front brake!
  23. Matter of taste, but that one has just three grill levels/
  24. That is just 5x7 light bluish gray liftarm:
  25. Best part of the answer-anybody can have different favorite store. Just decide what type of parts you need the most, go to BL and search for those parts, find the store with most of those parts with best prices, and with best shipping prices. Beware, it is very addictive!
