  1. The Forest Harvester looks like a mound of crap. Colours all over the place, irrelevant details like a drink bottle and toolbox (which is mounted on a System ladder part) as well as those ridiculous accessories (the saw horse and the chainsaw, what a waste of parts) and the rollers on the cutting head, while pneumatic, don't revolve; instead they're used as claws. Oh well, at least the trunks can stand alone.
  2. Just when we thought the blue fiasco was over...
  3. They haven't appeared in any Technic sets so far. I've seen them in a couple of Super Heroes sets.
  4. I've already corrected my observations above. They're metallic silver.
  5. The 3x11 panel in yellow is becoming quite common. Overall I'd say this is a pretty good set. Too long since we've had a forklift!
  6. The Forest Harvester actually has DBG hubs! Cool. Edit: Nope, they're pearl silver.
  7. Also noticed the large linear actuator under the boom. Cool.
  8. As do I! Very much. Definitely the standout set for me.
  9. Yes, though Volvo apparently had trouble trademarking the name. I just thought it odd that it's been used here.
  10. The label on the display shelf says "CONF Technic Zeux". Wonder why.
  11. Yeah, that explains my random expression of sheer joy on the previous page.
  12. Why weren't those provided in the set? They're not STAMPs and even if they were, you're not likely going to be taking the model apart. They really cheaped out with such an expensive set!
  13. Well, the people at TLG seem to think that the 42070 tow truck's B model is some kind of moon rover, so I'd say probably, leaning towards yes.
  14. I should probably clarify that I'm saying all this in regard to Technic. I just read the quoted passage on the first page and saw that this is likely to be used only in train-specific sets. For that it's probably splendid, but that topic is for somebody else to discuss.
  15. I don't see why the current Technic remote needs replacing. You can pair it up with other types of remote if you want additional options.
  16. I stand by my opinion. Those buttons look much less flexible and accessible than sticks.
  17. Yeah. What exactly were TLG thinking when they designed this? It looks awkward and counterintuitive.
  18. Same with me. I'm interested in seeing how the Bugatti turns out, even if I'm not the target market (and I'm really not), but I am more excited for the regular sets. Even the forklift excites me more. I do hope people like the Chiron, though; it sounds really cool. Looking forward to Sariel's review too!
