  1. Your heretical ramblings are rejected. Go peel and place far from my hallowed halls.
  2. Are those stud-shooters holding the rear lightbar to the back of the car?
  3. I am the last person to get excited about cars, but this thing is seriously cool. I was a bit underwhelmed with the front, but the back rocks! Great detailing and shape.
  4. You forgot Team Anti-Sticker, whose standard I carry with righteous pride.
  5. Well, we've got the L-shaped curved panel in transparent (as in 42070, for instance) so would it be much of a stretch to have other panels as well? They'd be great for showing off an engine!
  6. Look closely at the set image. You can see part of a triangular warning symbol under the panel.
  7. But they are available! Read the rest of my comment. They come in the Jakku Quadjumper and the Creator Ferrari, as well as a Nexo Knights set.
  8. There seems to be something inside the counterweight.
  9. I actually think it's quite refreshing to have a set of this size without the need for batteries to make it operate. Sometimes direct control is better.
  10. @Saberwing40k Could not agree more with everything you've said.
  11. Like I said, 8283 has a Manitou colour scheme and I didn't see TLG getting sued over that. Granted, Manitou were using silver hubs in their telehandlers by 2006, rather than white, but still. Maybe they could have done 42080 with non-yellow hubs but kept the green.
  12. Another point: what is with the silver hubs on this thing?! Why not the lime hubs from the police car pull-back? They already exist, so including them shouldn't be a problem. The silver hubs have already been used in a couple of sets; thus, TLG shouldn't feel the need to spread them out any more than they have. It just looks like a stack of bad decisions to me.
  13. Don't forget the Aaaaaaaaaaaaarghzure drink bottle in the cab.
  14. +1 TLG had a real opportunity to use it. Such a shame.
  15. That's another thing that makes this set stand out from most others. It also adds to the futuristic feel.
  16. Nope, sorry. Nothing on 42080. It makes 42070's colour palette look uniform.
  17. Looks more like Light Azure to me. Would make sense since Aurelien also did the Drag Racer.
  18. I really hope this set doesn't have two sets of stickers like the past two Volvo models.
  19. But it doesn't look cool. It looks slapdash, gimmicky and badly thought out. Seriously, the City forest tractor set released this year looks better, and does most of the things this set tries to do better as well. Saying "it's for little kiddies" doesn't excuse a poorly-designed product, which this is. Exactly. 8283 has a Manitou colour scheme and I didn't see TLG getting sued for that. Leave the logos out and you're golden. This would've been a great opportunity to have another bright green model.
  20. Why not a system wherein the brake calipers disengage when the car is rolled? I know, expecting waaaaaaaaay too much there...
