  1. Smyths did have 42094 for £36.99 recently, which was a frickin' steal. It's just gone up to £47.99, which is still great value.
  2. I'm not interested in Land Rovers, so of course it's not really my thing. If choosing an off-roader, I'd prefer 42099.
  3. Just noticed that the sticker on the supercharger of the truck in 42106 reads "V8". That's the funniest thing I've seen in quite a while.
  4. What about a Champion Crane scheme, with blue cabin section, grey chassis and yellow operator's cab and boom? That'd be cool.
  5. If not, then I want the CLAAS Dominator snowplough!
  6. I'm not keen on how Technic looks like Racers Redux, especially with the pullback motor seeping into actual sets. I do like the Buggy, though, and of course the Mini Xerion.
  7. I am surprised to see the pullback thing spreading into regular sets. It's starting to resemble Racers around here...
  8. I'm sorry, but that grey pin with pinhole looks ridiculous. Sneeze and it'll rotate out of position.
  9. Nice New Holland T9 you got there, Arioh.
  10. Looks like it to me as well. This does look better, mainly due to the tyres which are more suited to road travel.
  11. Just noticed that the harvester model in the Mini Xerion doesn't have the stickers applied. I thought we were past that sort of thing... In any case, it looks enough like a CLAAS Jaguar that it could use the stickers, so what gives?
  12. Stop everything! I have found exclusive footage of the design process of this set!
  13. @fosamax - Yup, couldn't agree more, mate. @Dyen's model is far superior. Maybe TLG should have taken inspiration from it.
  14. Whee! I wouldn't be so sure. Remember 2018? That had two sets in lime, whereas 2020 only has one more, and much of the lime in 42104 is on the big ugly hull parts (hereafter referred to as BUHPs).
  15. The Mini Xerion uses a linear actuator mount for the PTO on the mower. Cool.
  16. Few Technic cranes are actually built to lift anything remotely weighty. I said it on the general discussion topic but I'll reiterate it here: this is a bangin' crane, but with no B-model it feels like half a set.
  17. As long as that's the only j-wordy part they're doing, I'm good. No one-piece crane booms, TLG... It is indeed cool that the Mini Xerion steers, as does the forager. Sometimes the tiny sets can be just as impressive as the big stuff!
  18. I for one am massively relieved that TLG has seen fit to retain models for at least the smaller sets, even if the instructions are digital only. I do like the Mobile Crane, but it still feels like we're getting only half a set.
  19. To be fair, I did make it clear that I'd only really care if I gave a wet slap about boats. Which I don't. I also noticed that the small lime panels from 42080 make a return in the Mini Xerion! I was wondering where they'd reappear.
  20. I like that the pullbacks each have their own B-model now.
  21. The topic updated quickly! Woah, a forage harvester! Cool stuff. Technic does not have enough harvesters!
  22. 42106 has a pullback motor! Just noticed that. First time a regular set has featured one. Probably not the last. Plus, that bike looks like hot vomit. The buggy has flex axles in light orange as well! Cool. Wonder what the Xerion's B-model is?
