  1. A cement mixer? Be interesting to see how TLG pull that off, unless they're using a similar technique to @BusterHaus...
  2. Don't look at me, I'm expecting a JCB...
  3. Yeah, the thick 20-tooth gear. The gears don't look solid; rather, they have a shiny, slightly translucent look to them.
  4. My copy of 42099 came with the softer, more "jelly-like" 24-tooth tan gears, so I think TLG may have been listening to our complaints...
  5. Why was this not the B-model?! Stonking work, Markiewicz! Pairing it with the Mack trailer is genius.
  6. I was talking about this tyre. Also about 42102: it seems more reminiscent of the 3800 Xerion with its square front. Note that the exact model of Xerion is not specified.
  7. Great for your MOC, but the solution used in 42070 was rubbish considering it's remotely controlled. Oh, and the Mini Xerion. I don't think TLG is going to make smaller tractor tyres any time soon (at least, not at 42102's scale), because the CLAAS tyres replaced a balloon tyre that wasn't used much to begin with. If TLG made smaller tractor tyres for other rims, then that would add unwanted complexity to parts production. I think labelling 42102 as a disappointment due to that reason is a little unfair.
  8. Doesn't mean that some sets have to be utter vomitrocity either.
  9. Nice job! As we all know, a certain set recently tried something like this, with less success:
  10. This would have been an ideal B-model for 42097.
  11. Which is, ironically, based on a JCB Wastemaster.
  12. ...it had better be a JCB. Whst else could all this flame-yellow orange be for?
  13. Built it yesterday. Just as good as the big one!
  14. I said it once and I'll say it again: a set with only an A-model is half of a set. Being licensed won't help you either; there are several licensed examples with great B-models, like the Volvo sets. Even the big Xerion's alternate tool is still an alternate, and it's arguably the better tool of the two. Despite @Sariel's disappointment at the tiny Xerion's B, I like it as well. Not as good as the A in this case, though.
  15. I was joking, 'cos CONTROL+ is the apparent successor to PF. For the record, I'm not hugely happy about PF being retired.
  16. Power Functions? Tch. Get with the times, dude.
  17. I still don't get why TLG didn't use the stickers on the B-model. It would have been perfectly fine to label it as a CLAAS Jaguar.
  18. Pretty much most of H1 looks like Drome Racers. I do like the Buggy and Race Truck though.
  19. Boot 42008 and 9394 at least. The rest I'd consider too good to sell.
