  1. Very nice looking car, I like the spoiler
  2. Sorry for bumping the topic, but couldn't pass without sharing some pics and noting how powerful this truck is. I have it built for like 4 month and it still doesn't stop to amaze. It climbs everywhere until there is a grip. Just in case you see it pictured in uncommon place or position - there is no need to move truck manually to position for cool shots it can do this on its own. Another thing that I was surprised - efficiency. Batteries last for much longer than in 9398 set. Amazing job Zblj! Some pics from LUG aniversary: Some other pictures from recent event can be found on our LUG's Flickr. Cannot wait till winter to test this beast on snow now
  3. I was thinking for a while - what about some great universal sets, so you could build many models from single set? And with some models (as inspiration) not having building instructions (like in good old days)?
  4. It is already called Bionicle and implemented in previous sets. And, no thanks.
  5. If you are looking to acquire both sets (not at the same time) go with 8110 as it is already discontinued and will become more expensive. In case you are not looking for new pneumatic cylinders and new parts found in 42043 I could suggest a different set - 8455. This is the of the greatest Technic sets containing pneumatic system. It has 10 cylinders + 2 pumps. You'll be amazed by the complexity of the sets in its scale.
  6. I find this set attractive as well. It was on my post dark age return wishlist. It contains quite a few rare or expensive parts indeed.
  7. Yes, it has been reported this set has slightly different number of extra parts, some got extra 32L axle, some not. Later versions have single booklet instead of multiple.
  8. Don't want to jump into mahjqa's thread, but since we got to general discussion here you can find some pics. It looks better than performs
  9. That's great!Just wanted to highlight a point, where some people complaining their stuff is being pirated while they, most probably, weren't so innocent themselves.
  10. I put an eye on this hull once set was announced, so I'd like to have one to build some ship as well! Yours seem to be very agile, which I like a lot. You'll never believe... Just before Sariel has posted his ship I have build my own one. So yeah, enjoy summery water MOCs while you can.
  11. Oh, please tell me you haven't downloaded a single mp3 or movie from internet ever before. Buyer would always look for easier option, which in this case, is being offered by local sellers.
  12. While proportions might be a bit off, I find this good piece of engineering. I see you spent some time getting rid of all blank spaces in the body!
  13. No way. Don't tell me this is true! So we spend money buying no-so-cheap product and not being able to get, not so rare, damaged/wrong parts replaced. That's absurd...
  14. So much love put into details, looks great! Which tires did you use as they seem to be a bit stretched I believe?
  15. Enjoyed every steps of the v2 bucket. Didn't think it is THIS HARD to make such piece.
  16. 24 x 32 maybe? If yes, then Bricklink has two entries: 10a and 10b. While none of them appear to be contained in any set one 10a in Light Gray was sold in January.
  17. Well, I don't think you need differential here if you are going to drive on non-hard surface. Good luck with MOC this time
  18. There is option to chose dark background
  19. Hi, I had similar issue some time ago, where parts I received were in a different colour - i.e. not that I ordered. Made a call to Customer Service, explained my issue and got a refund for incorrect pieces. You might try getting correct piece on Bricklink instead.
  20. But-but-but....you would ruin the feel of that old set . I mean that clutch power, unavailable these days, that squeak sound when you put parts together or pull apart Well, unless parts got discoloured or yellowed pretty bad.
  21. Oh, my bad Still thinking Volvo is latest flagship...
  22. I'd love to see super-car next year. Following recent pattern, next year's flagship could be motorised, but won't be remotely controlled.
  23. I wish flagships would be considered as Expert Model where pins, axles and gears could be in non-standard colors, based on colors used in model. I mean why can't pin below be black (as an example) again? It was already available in this color, and even heavily used, so it shouldn't be a problem for an expert to place it correctly while assembling set. Same goes with other parts where instead of red/blue/tan we'd love to see black/grey/white.
