  1. I understand you have limited amount of parts that came with the sets you have. But then there is Bricklink/BrickOwl you can use to purchase the parts you need/missing. It is not that hard these. In fact, for me it doesn't matter how many parts I have each MOC tends to require some parts I don't have.
  2. Brickset is good place to start. You can also look at LEGO Bricks and Pieces, but is far less convenient.
  3. You've put all the blue panels into good use here. It looks very nice. Are motors hard coupled?
  4. This is huge! Brick built actuator looks quite nice. I wonder what are the tyres as well. I've noticed these are given randomly, without consistency, unlike in other subforums.
  5. Yeah, the rules and the main idea of the contest didn't have exact boundaries, which caused many interpretations. And as the result of it some aren't happy with preliminary results. But not me (I didn't get into top 20), there were many great entries so it is hard to chose 20 (not speaking about 10). It's already great that some people liked the model I build. In fact this contest gave some great building experience which should help a lot next time.
  6. Properly scaled Technic train would be nice indeed. I mean not as the smallest set - medium would be just about right. At least something fresh.
  7. You have to make steps yourself while designing a model. LPub3D is just representing "on paper" the steps you've actually created in LDCad. True, LDD doesn't have the "step" concept, but its instruction making algorithm is horrible due to this.
  8. I find it hard to suggest a set, but it is much easier to suggest a proper pricing - 400EUR I wish it won't cost this much though.
  9. I was thinking solar panel actually the source of a power. Now I see there are two battery boxes. How does solar panel actually help?
  10. Interesting problem and solution. Is that for another Rebrick contest? I see you spent a moment for interesting MOC naming
  11. That's a very nice MOD - looks like Ultimate 42054 to me. Will there be instructions?
  12. I hope this is not, to be honest. Ultimate should stay Ultimate for some extended period of time, otherwise it will become main line product.
  13. That's quite a nice performance keeping in mind the weight. You mentioned earlier you are willing to make the model for LR factory visit. Did you have a chance for such visit?
  14. For those complaining about 300EUR price... well I went to check our local LEGO shop just to find they already have it for 359.99 EUR
  15. I think he has been speaking about quality of instructions. This is important if you are charging for them. And if person is looking for instructions I would assume MOC has already passed personal quality check.
  16. It depends what marketing department of the company wish their vehicles to be advertised as in reality they are same.
  17. There different types of instructions you can produce - digital file, photo instructions, and high quality PDF instructions similar to the TLG ones. The last option is something that I understand why people ask money for them. It could take weeks to produce the final product, depending on your skills, model size and free time you have. My suggestion would be to have a look at Rebrickable where you can add the pieces you have and then check what is missing for the model you wish to build. This could help you deciding if it is worth buying instruction or there are just too much parts you need to buy.
  18. It should be [PORSCHE] instead of [MOC] for Rebrick's contest entries.
  19. I've used pretty much all Red flex axles I had available: 6 x 19L 2 x 16L 1 x 14L 15 x 12L 1 x 11L 2 x Red #3 connectors I have already submitted my entry, so no changes are planned to happen. However engine, be it fake or not, in pedal/human powered vehicle seem to be illogical Yeap, URL to official Ferdinand GT3 RS project's Flick gallery is in first post already I've used it as inspiration.
  20. Is this what you are looking for?
