  1. Just adding to post above, to make it a bit clear. You need to add all the sets and additional parts you already have first. Later search for the MOC you wish to build and hit the "Build this MOC!" button, which will show what you have left to collect. And if you scroll down a bit more there will sections with suggested sets.
  2. Does the Plus version look exactly the same? Is there a way of distinguishing between two available versions?
  3. Well, looking at person's feedback I would assume he is a new guy, trying to make a few bucks and he made a mistake. I'd suggest letting him know instead of ordering, as order cancellation request will follow afterwards making everything a bit more complicated and stressful for seller.
  4. I've initially read about this at Brickset. The comment section is somewhat depressing. There is high number of people (that's within LEGO community!) who appreciated Lepin releasing MOC based sets. I understand why there is demand for old modular knock-offs. But people's MOCs... that's something I couldn't think of. This will definitely have a chill effect on instruction creation. Not that I produce world class MOCs, but I like doing instructions for them. I'll consider this situation with Lepin in the future. You may never know if any other company pickup the new trend with other sorts of MOCs.
  5. I agree with that, especially if you aren't sharing any instructions. What if you do? And making a bit of investment return by selling some of them?
  6. You can also try using ribbed 7mm hose, like Nico did in his recent rally car. It won't handle much torque. Without further friction in transfer system it might work quite well.
  7. @MrNumbskull13 have a look at this presentation Jamie Berard (TLG Designer) has produced some time ago.
  8. Sticker look great! Interesting fact is that AFOLs blame LEGO for designing stickers that need to be applied over multiple parts (STOMP), but then again fine doing so on their own.
  9. With all this uncertainty around LDD I'd say a whopping 44 pieces!
  10. Brickset is another alternative to Bricklink.
  11. If you prefer Folders over Albums you might want to try BrickSafe.
  12. These seems to be hosted on MOC Pages. While website is fine, picture are unavailable, sadly.
  13. It looks like Bricklink is happy to share its DB until you start making money out of it. I remember Bricklink had issues with BrickOwl so they split their DBs. However I wasn't aware of issue with Rebrickable? They seem to be in good relations - having URL's for parts in each direction.
  14. You need to store the file somewhere externally (not on EB), like Bricksafe, Brickshelf, Dropbox or anywhere else you wish. Then, when you decide you wish to share something you need to post a link (URL) to that file. Same goes with pictures.
  15. I had quite the opposite experience with order made in Australia. Can you imagine how was I surprised to see an envelope in my mailbox after just 4! days I paid my order. Just 4 days! It takes at least a week to receive anything ordered within EU.
  16. The reason for your issue is that you didn't center the servo motor during assembly.
  17. Could be this one
  18. I can see it is possible with LDView. You can chose from *.pov, *.stl or *. 3ds file formats.
  19. Thanks for sharing the video. I presume this race took place somewhere in Warsaw? I know polish TT rules are kind of strict. Does the type and number of motors affect your final result from judgement point of view? Would truck with 8 motors used for propulsion be standing lower if its performance was the same as for 2 motor truck? Where could I find the set of rules for such TT races?
  20. Some good set for first half of 2017. That ship, with all the dark blue stuff This piece was quickly discontinued changing models to incorporate original worm gear.
  21. Oh cool, thanks, for pointing this out! I looked through settings initially but wasn't lucky enough. Light grey text on slightly lighter background wasn't easy to spot.
  22. I feel the same. It looks like white page with lots of grey text everywhere. A bit hard to find line between posts as an example. Notifications - cool new feature. Is there a way to switch sound off for those notifications when someone posted while I was typing this? Edit. There's only graphic mode whil typing post, no Text mode anymore. This was helpful, especially with lots of images or some specific post modifications to do.
  23. It wasn't very quick until I realised I'm looking at LEGO model already. Great attention to all the details. Did you paint some pieces?
  24. Get the parts you need onto wanted list. This is simply good to figure out what and how much you actually need. Then use the option to buy all pieces from Wanted list, so you can figure out which stores have most of the pieces you need. I don't really like that, so I look for my pieces manually (it is a great adventure! =) ). Good thing about buying at Bricklink is to have pieces you actually need and something nice-to-have. Add some of these nice-to-have pieces if you still have some budget or spare weight you could use (keeping in mind shipping might be costly). Some bricks are good even in Used condition (but please read sellers terms for condition of used parts he accept), which is cheaper. If you need to build up general stock of new pieces - look for used sets. Don't be surprised by low prices for some pieces, you will end up spending more (cheap pieces in larger numbers)
  25. Bricklink doesn't have a monthly fee for seller. You only pay your fees (once per month) when items are sold.
