Seriously stop cancelling things around twitter drama, looking at these sets and full theme parks Im just thinking thal vocal minority doesnt reflect reality. Just dont buy these sets and dont spoil this for anybody else, I deeply admire work of Rowling in my opinion she just express heir own opinion and thats seems to be problem in this cancel era. I see some folks have really big problem to accept others opinion, they are clearly unmature in my view. If I dont like things I just dont buy it, watch it, read it its simple as that. Im proud of Harry Potter books that I have. They give me some best free time in my life... I cannot say same things about social medias, they give me worst experiences ever...

I just recently found about Eiffel tower, albeit interested for me its in case of probably interesting set to buy If I had spare house and robbing a bank. Lego is trying to push limits, but all with these crazy big sets, Im asking myself what are purpose of these sets? There is not just alone set in this scale range and they are pushing few for year. These sets are just for show without any other purpose... I totally miss days, where pinacle of lego year was just one decent sized creator set that goes at least for four years in 250 euro range. For sure there is somebody, that buy this behemoth and said that few smaller sets offer better fun of building than repetitive massive sets.

I dived into instructions to choose sets to buy mostly by interesting building techniques and how it looks finished. My winners are Elvija and 512m . I cannot wait to build these two sets. From my perspective speed champions is one of best theme. Sets are affordable, offer satisfaction and they can be put into city, diorama or just onto shelf. Same goes to recent batmobiles!

Im alone in this, or its there also somebody who wants same treatment for JP car as UCS cars? Sadly Im seeing same scenarios for Lego , Mattel even Transformers set for Ford Explorer, such as set that must include Tyrannosaurus Rex in any cases. Even boxes of these toys looks almost same. Probably licensing issues or something blocking standalone cars sets.

I checkout prices of these trains, cargo train is significantly cheaper that last one. Thats kinda interesting. Passenger have same price.

I think there is really market after all. All these train ideas sets with 10000 votes and still nothing. Whats really sad, I will never buy lego train to kids these days, because its so hard to expand it. Want longer freight train? Only options is buy these pricey sets more times. Or go to mocs market, action markets. Its not viable, its not fun...

Check out newer types just as H5, its exactly what I mean. I really hope there is possibility of doubling, maybe I found place I buy 2x sets to made it complete... Anyway trains are still dead in Lego. Two trains in 4 years doesn't change anything.

Long front end green high speed train reminds me japanese shinkansen. Not my cup of tea sadly. Freight trains, well Im interested at last.

Lego store timed exclusivity of adult sets are pointless. They are here only to maximize profit for lego. If I wait for few months, I get nice sale of these sets in regular online stores. That sale is better than any gift given... Also that new Jurassic Park sets T-Rex breakout is weirdly put into Adults category but that set is clearly for playing. I dont see reason to give this set adult treatment, I will be only harder to get for most fans...

Im not your buddy and I never will be. We dont have these problems here? Why? Because we never had slaves and colonies, so we dont need to apologize to anybody... So I dont feel remorse of any of my ancestors. Also politics in Canada now just needs to listen to some juicy truck horns, because there are some free countries(Yeah I live in it, luckily at the end) that court made covidpass discrimination and politics in fear promptly shut it down. This is now most important thing to handle right everywhere in the world, not 30. old lego set. Thats sign of totality of sake of safety...

Please stop doing this, there is no need for apologizing for 30. old sets based on fantasy land. There is no need for apologizing for anything made long ago in different era or deleting or changing history... This is only path for new totality! None of these sets that I used to play made me feel bad, but I see some are upset even looking in catalogs they never had in hands... If you are offended by old plastic figure, there is another bigger problem on horizon.

6 studs size is very limiting, I made local train from parts of two 60197, and Im having problem fit inside bike. Wheelchair will be probably problem too, but I would like to see baby carriage, wheelchair, bike in train.

Anybody else thinks, that ending high speed train was perfect city train set? It kinda gets feel of old trains with various wagons and colour/design mix? That new trains is about 20 pieces less than Metroliner, yes famous metroliner. I dont expect 10 minifigures and long platform. But there is alot to be made perfect with this piece count in 6 studs. Im really interesting. Trains between 2006 and 2018 were just uninspiring...

For me it doesnt make sense, truck will be probably too big to be used in city settings and too small to be used with Creator expert cars. Functionality and details will be compromised for sake of transform function. I will stick to classic Transformers toys... Anybody thinks, that transformers will be better as technic set? -
Thats actually what is sometimes to see in real life. Albeit not possible officially, yes there is a lot drinking between construction workers. Im into playmobil and lego, and playmobil was used to be really lifelike. Now they are really into fantasy and action, they change in past few years a lot.

Technic is really weird nowadays, so many very high priced set with only purpose to display... Yeah and all these functions are hidden under panels with tons of stickers, so nothing to see... I see no purpose to buy technic set today at this price point in this state. Anyone remember silver champion formula? I would buy it now without hesitation.

Not every children needs story to play with toys, or story involving crimes, seriously.. I was used to play with lego with not set story like nowadays. I like to expand city and used other minifigures to be part of my story. It was just imagination, like lego used to have slogan in that days. I think lego was less violent that nowadays, otherwise they stating they are not after militarization etc. . Lego city is very violent, albeit they are gun free so they have free pass. For instance playmobil use guns, but city sets are city sets. Police sets are police sets... These toys are mostly violence free.

I had in 1998 Bank set, I love it because it was just bank with Bank employees and armored car to transfer money. Sometimes robbery happens, but it was mostly civilized bank . Now there is this... No bank employees, three crooks with truck and three swat officers with truck and helicopter. Really Lego you again outdone yourself with your lawless city... And top of that, you can blew up a bank. Isnt it fascinating? :P Really they needs robberies even in freight train set. Just stop please, I'm frightening about that Lego city crimewave spanning around 15 years and Im 30 years old...

I dont understand this firefighter x chase crossover in this set. Lego city probably needs better law, there is crime everywhere...Its major problem in this city, that started in early 2000s. I would myself change my adress to Heartlake city for better sleep.

Hey I just found rebrickable and alternate models. What is really upsetting me, that some childish easy to build alternate models instructions of speed champions cars are sold sometimes even for 5 euro, when best alternates are always free. Like these MOCers are kinda out of common sense, what is good product to be paid for...
