  1. I love your thinking :-) . Whats really interesting there is very subtle hint with cargo trains that this train is hybrid. Not every official photos have pantographs on, so its probably based on Siemens Dual mode or Stadler Euro Dual or similar engines.
  2. Thank you, I really appreciate this :-) .
  3. Very interesting thanks, how do you find jb spielwaren sets with photos?
  4. Thats good premise after all :-D . Sadly Im kind of dinosaur, I build only cars with big petrol engines Mad Max style, my trains used to haul coal and tires and my favourite sets was octan gas pump and Monster truck .
  5. Whats really sad, they imprint this nonsensical ideas into kids heads and reality is far far away. Sad thing is also, that same knowing about solar has many green politics without knowing basics about physics... Im sorry about this rant, but this really makes me angry because I know something about solars...
  6. Lego seems to have very advanced solar technology, same as in freight train when they use portable solar panel for charging electric car. Lego stop greenwashing and making false ideas, we have solars on whole roof and we will charge vehicle in very optimistic way 10 hours only when solar give 100% peak and nothing else is in usage.
  7. Me too, especially all train offerings and pyramid of Giza set .
  8. According to JB spielwaren we see everything. They lift the gates.
  9. I dont saw these sets, but Im said that based on sets we get in past.
  10. Only 23 hours to see first photos of June sets according to JB spielwaren. Im really interested in Pyramids.
  11. Only 23 hours to see first photos and be able to preorder according to JB spielwaren. Im really interested in Passenger train, but Im not expecting something breathtaking.
  12. According to JB spielwaren its about one day and few hours to start preorders of sets. Its like last year, ehen first photos were shown 2nd of May. Lego is sometimes boringly predictable.
  13. Im somewhat really excited about this architecture set, so I did some calculating based on data provided by Promobricks. Set is 46 studs wide and 30 deep according to promobricks. There is always one stud black line on both sides. So this makes around 28 studs for pyramid, I assume there will be probably another one studs gap on both sides just to look better. So 26 studs in wide for pyramid as I calculate. That would means height 25 bricks and thats about 24 centimetres in height for pyramid. Pyramid is cut in half thats for one set 13 studs deep on baseplate. 4-6 studs is river Nile, that means around 25x28 studs for other buildings. I think this is best I can imagine .
  14. Now I understand, you mean interiors of pyramid to be mirrored? I dont think that will happen, it will be nice to have altered instructions for second set. I look on some photos of supposed pyramid location, and there is village on another side of that pyramid if I understand whole diorama. Maybe it is possible to made some small village from parts of main set minus pyramid- Who knows, 1 of May is not too far, all sets were presented one month prior release.
  15. On promobricks they said, that it will act like modular building conectivity aka technic hole brick for inserting pin of second part of pyramid. Promobricks is most reliable source, so there it is. Really adultified, its architecture after all. This set sounds really grandious for around 1500 pieces. I cannot imagine it from my head, it will be brickbuild pyramid or pyramid made by plates? Too many questions.
  16. I think that it will be. Pyramid will be on separate baseplate and it can be detached from diorama as you suggested. But there will be diorama for nothing. But I think, its lego after all, to alter that second diorama and make it different to main diorama. Aka dont mirroring them.
  17. Half of pyramid doesnt make sense, mirrored diorama either . I dont know who made this decision. There are football stadiums with thousands pieces and now they cannot throw 500 pieces more for whole pyramid, one of world wonder? For me full pyramid or nothing, so there goes unnecessary doubling of set.
  18. That would be really great, they all smiled nicely. Now they have mostly grin. Is really weird to have both of these styles side by side.
  19. Best canister is from slizers, why? They kinda reminds spaceship and i used it in that way of playing.
  20. I was scouting rebrickable for some inspiration, and there is no problem to build really decent pyramid, well diorama, with this piece count. I think that price is set that high thanks to usage of bigger bricks and baseplates.Rumoured size 46x30 studs is a lot.
  21. Sad things that I care and If I remeber correctly lego cared too. I do know when I was at recommended age for this set, I probably pinpoint very easily that its not realistic. Kids are not stupid as they sometimes looks.
  22. Seriously that locomotive is weird, feels lower that usual trains, front is very meh .
  23. Thats great idea to have interiors of pyramid and possibility to double this set. This sounds very interesting, very tempted to see photos. Not gonna lie it sounds better than Eiffel tower set for 630 euro.
  24. Nice colorful figures, they looks like from 80s or 90s.
  25. Nice figures, they looks like from 80s . I found that cargo train has around 1100 pieces, thats fair amount of pieces for that price.
