  1. I plan on extending then tiles from the modular buildings out by one 2x2 tile and then using the light grey curb. Alternatively you couldmuse the method in the lego commercials - Plate/tile/plate/tile. I will have to find a photo to demonstrate.
  2. Thanks for the link. Enjoyed watching the video.
  3. Fun, original creation, and lots of mini-figures. What is not to like about this set!? Jamie has been quite inventive and clever in his design too. I will be saving to buy it.
  4. This certainly looks like the tube station at Elephant and Castle in central London. Great job! I really like the archways.
  5. So far I've kept all my Lego boxes going back to 1999 when they released Star Wars sets. They are all in pretty much mint condition, minus being opened of course. Was rather frustrated at having some of the boxes damage when I moved countries. I know they are taking up quite a bit of space at the moment but I will not throw them away. I paid for the sets and I like having it complete, box, set and instructions. I've been putting boxes inside of other boxes. I find this is a great way to reduce clutter. My 80's Lego sets I just have the cover and rear art of the boxes. The only boxes I had to fold over were the modular boxes. I loved them so much I refused to throw them away and even mailed them when I moved. In the future I may fold some more boxes down. (Note: only cutting the tape not actually folding them in half...) The ones that you have to pry apart on the side I can't exactly do that but I still use the larger set boxes to store Lego sets anyway. Another space saver. Eventually when I can have my own Lego room I plan on having some shelving in the basement or such to store the boxes. Considering how many people throw their's away it is in my best interest to keep them.

Wow fantastic to see in the brick, RoxYourBlox! I'd been waiting to see if you would build it. How many parts did you end up using? Love your creations.
  7. There is a sticky thread where individuals can post their towns/city they are creating. Along with photos of course!
  8. Not a fan of old cars but I really liked your farmer's truck. Has an excellent feel to what one would see from the 1920's. Great work!
  9. This is exceptional MichalPL! You've done an amazing job. Was it very expensive to create? Really like the interior of the training centre.
  10. Wow this is awesome! Can't wait to see it built.
  11. Liking what you've done so far LT. Noticed the gas station nestled in the back
  12. Nice work L Tiger. Anyone else notice how the van from museum break out is designed after the A-Team van? Are all your buildings open ended?
  13. Sorry just quoting stevkir. I'm in Canada :p
  14. BnP orders are directly out of Denmark. They ship them overseas to Olive Branch, Missouri for distribution. You are correct PAB is out of Poland.
  15. I'm seriously excited about this!! I loved the Pirates theme and collected quite a few. They may be testing the waters a bit with the contest/new ship set before a full fledged release. Will be interesting to see.
  16. YES! Having built the Cafe Corner and Green Grocer it is a very effective way of buying the sets. See the earlier parts of this thread for more in-depth detail.
  17. For $63 dollars I'd buy it. There are a few reviews on brickset that you could read. http://brickset.com/sets/60004-1/Fire-Station
  18. Thanks the TheLegoDr! Nor can I. I'm pretty excited to start building it. I'm glad to have inspired you. This was my first completed modular design with multiple floors.
  19. Thank you Matoro! That is very kind of you to say. I decided on a the final look of the building in the image below.
  20. Anyone have some more photos to look at? I find descriptions don't do this topic justice.
  21. Thank you. I really liked the police station from 2011 (7498) but it was for playability and not ultimately what I wanted out of a police station. I am thinking I will use it as a base in the suburbs. I can't wait to build this thing! Thank you Scottwb2010. Must have been all those police shows I watched as a kid. Didn't even have to think too much about the elements so much as where to place them. I very much want to build this in brick too. I'm holding off my assessment for cost this week. I will have to design and build the garage and alleyway. I have the ideas in my head but will have to find the time to create them in LDD.
  22. So I made a few minor changes and the top facade of the building is now all white. I now have to begin the laborious process of pricing it out. On a side note I have already made the two detective mini-figures. the dark hair piece for the girl was .84 cents alone!
  23. Really like the little details in this MOC. The railing connecting the silo is a cool idea! Great work Eurotrash!
  24. I'm really impressed with how you've designed this. Excellent work! Loving the right hand entrance combination of windows and bricks. Did it cost a lot to make it? I never knew they made classic faces in flesh tone...
  25. Now this is a Grand Emporium! Great work so far RedBaron.
