Hi all, This is the first time I have posted a topic for the forum. I love seeing all the various creations and imagery. I wanted to add my own contribution: http://Brickagecity.blogspot.ca Currently I have been working on creating a Octan Gas Station which was inspired by Danthaman11's Modular Gas station. (I seriously wanted to speak to Danthaman11 about his creation as I would like to see my version made into a set through Cuusoo as I need his permission) I thought it was a brilliant MOC but I wanted to make it more in line with a Lego playable set without watering it down from the intent. In any case I am quite pleased with the result. I only have some minor parts to exchange colours with and add a few more pieces. I have to update my blog a bit from the other week as I have started a process of building by sourcing the parts for the Cafe Corner and Green Grocer. As well as still designing 'the Wharf Shop'. I am almost done with my spreadsheets in excel for the Green Grocer. I have made one already for the Cafe Corner. I will post them up once complete for others to use. It is extremely helpful for dealing with bricklink orders! I will add some photos on this thread when I take some better ones. Still having technical issues having it lit properly. :o Tell me what you think about my creations so far? I only ask that the community to be kind. :P

Anyone have an idea on how to contact Danthaman 11? I've utilized his design but improved upon it and would like to use it on Cuusoo.

My dark age was similar to many. I started playing with Lego when I was just 3 and was a complete fanatic. Had my first space set bought for me by my father one day in a Shoppers Drug Mart. I had my original yellow lego castle built for the last 30 years! Only recently have I been cleaning them up and putting them into proper storage. Around the age of 14 I stopped collecting Lego from 1990-1999. Bought the odd small set when I had 5 dollars or so but most of the time I could only look at them. Got really into collecting again when they brought out the star wars sets and I had money. So I have most of the sets from 1999-2003. Then went to university so I couldn't afford to and had other things happening. I discovered the Lego store back in 2011 and bought the Gladiator minifigure from Series 5. Once that happened I had to collect them and all. I was hooked from then on. It was rather weird I never collected Lego City or Town sets always, Space, Lego Castle and Star Wars. I dunno why I didn't buy them before because I love them now! :) It is hard though to keep up with Star Wars...

I agree with the others here, I joined Flickr awhile ago and have not encountered anything I really did not want to look at. Now unless you want to go looking for x-rated content that is your choice. However how is your experience 'soiled'? If I took offence at everything I encountered on line or off line I would never experience life. I would advise you to grow up and just enjoy the AFOL community where ever we are.
