  1. Oh, I thought it is the same old gray with just yellowing on some of them...silly me
  2. Quite interesting design + the robot head helmet is nice feature too , tho I have to say that the studless trend is exactly the reason I do not like modern LEGO designs: I am simply missing its "LEGOidnessity" and "toy-ness" that way
  3. This is very good and I am second that
  4. Orgo with his guns look huge, I like it...
  5. not bad...
  6. UPDATE: * added 2408p05 * added 3010p41 * added 3010p42 * added 3010p918 * added 3010p924 * added 3939p90 * added 3939p91 * added 4858p90 * updated 3297p90 decoration * updated 4760c01pb02 decoration
  7. You see, now it only looks PERFECT!!!  Looks like my suggestion works this time...
  8. Of course: you do not edit LDD bricks therefore your LDD brick in .lxf stays the same without change, decorations are applied afterwards in POVRay, it does not affect/manipulate/change any brick at all
  9. ...but where's the chicken then? cool crew
  10. UPDATE: * completely re-edited post (at Calabar's suggestion) * added 2340pb001 * added 4865p06
  11. very good, almost real...and the olive front part of the seat is like those in WWII aircrafts, nice
  12. Amazing display that is!
  13. Yes, sorry, I forgot to mention that THIS IS FOR PC AND WINDOWS OS, but it took me one whole day just to make this tutorial, so...some mistakes are maybe still there Anyway:YOU CAN USE IT JUST WITH POVRAY TOO, do everything as described (all my files in the same dir as your .lxf)just #include my brick .inc file into .pov file, that should be it Thanx
  14. You very nicely achieved effect of long grass and ruins, perfect!
  15. #691514 Scootoover Refill Dock by bublible - LXF
  16. ...and here is a hypothetical LEGO box for this MOC: Model modularity: Find out more on set's official webpage: http://lego.queryen....691514.php?j=en You can see it also at MOC Pages here: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/410602 LEGO Ideas direct link (please, give it your support there if you really like it...thanx):
  17. For all of you LDD users seeking for a way to decorate bricks at render time that are not decorable in LDD here is the final solution for you, hope you will like it guys (I make this new post today early morning): http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=108114
  18. Very nice model, and yet 4-bricks-wide...now that is even better (classic LEGO is my love, you know )
  19. Thanx, from you it means a lot for me as I think you are one of the most inovative members here! And yes, I am actually building mymtutorial, concept is ready,,now I have to give it a "shape", so later today I will make new separate post...
  20. OK, so before I go to sleep (I almost do now, it's 04:00 morning here, gee!) I made a quick teaser-like pseudoposter for tomorrow (ehm, for today), here it is just to show you a few examles I made now, hope you will like it, so see you + thanx a lot for inspiration, bbqqq
  21. Well, guys, just a few minutes later I have made it, so here is a quick simple render as a "proof of the concept" (that is: transparent box with decoration transformed by brick matrix) - I used wrong decor here (actually for a 1x2 brick) so its deformed and upside down but it doesn't matter as it is only a question of right decor there with this solution we can from now on DECORATE ANY BRICK AT ALL INCLUDING THOSE WITHOUT EXISTING DECORS P.S.: tomorrow I will post the srcipt and "How to"
  22. Also where in LDD2POVRAY is this one? Cos there is nothing like that there...the only thing that is somehow close to that term is "Use custom materials" or "Use part materials"...hm??? Anyway still doesn't work as it should, this is what I am getting permanently ...and yet: although if I would manage to make it somehow according to your rendered images there is still clearly visible stripe from the 3039 slope holding that decoration, so that said I am affraid this cannot be taken as a solution for me cos it doesn't look good at this point...so we have to most probably wait for the LDD brick 3298 update so it becomes decorable But meanwhile there is another thought that striked me while ago: what about using transparent box with applied texture on its one side (.png picture = our decor) and have it transformed (position and angles) by the 3298? I guess just as a principle it could work...
  23. Thanx, I already did...and stil being playing with it but it simply do not work for me here: although I am able put my 3039p90 into right position and angles (OK, probably not 100% cos when I really zoom in LDD to assure myself it is positioned right it is not still somehow) when I renders it using your technique only original 3298 is rendered, if I use my temporary code made upon yours (I simply declare and include the 3039p90 brick in my custom .inc file so there is no need edit the .pov everytime I do some changes etc.) it renders both 3298 and 3039p90 BUT WITHOUT DECORATION...it looks like the 3039p90 is a tiny bit lower so the decor is hidden underneath 3298's slope...
