  1. Stunning build! What I really like about that build is that you have included all the official LotR/Hobbit minifigs to the places where they live or appear in the books.
  2. Nice build, nice to see that the story continues. The forced perspective works very well for the introduction, especially the micro scale camp is well built.
  3. Like I've said on flickr before, this is truly a great build and one of my favorites from you. That landscaping and wildlife is very well done, especially the fox is a nice little detail. I also love those darker autumn colors, they work so well with the dark tan ground color.
  4. Really nice build! The textures of the hut look great and the choice of parts and colors (lime green ) for that small garden is quite nice.
  5. I want to present you a creation based on my favorite fantasy saga "A Song of Ice and Fire" by George R. R. Martin. This is the house where Daenerys and her brother Viserys spent their childhood, during the novel Daenerys often thinks back to the house with it's red door and the lemon tree outside the window. These are one of my favorite parts in the first book but unfortunatelly this scenes were not filmed for the television series. The house with the red door in Braavos by Wat-Tambor on flickr C&C welcome! Thanks for viewing!
  6. Nice micro scale creation! Like I have written on flickr before, this reminds me of a mixture of Helm's Deep and the Erebor from Tolkien's books / Peter Jackson's movies. The little green dragon inside the cave is a nice little detail.
  7. Really funny and nice build! I like the idea using Han Solo in Carbonite as a loud speaker.
  8. Great build Markus! I really like the construction of the AT-ST that is cutting down the trees. Is that one a modification of the AT-ST models you have used for your giant Endor battle showed at LLD? The landscape looks great too, I like the foliage on the ground, mixing leaves with bushes and grass works really well. Well, they ruined Episode VI...
  9. Thanks, I was inspired by this picture: http://www.jedipedia...Nar_shaddaa.jpg That's the reason why I wanted to use those sparkly pink Belville bricks in the MOC. Thanks a lot! I tried some different techniques and this one looked the best but these containers are not very stable. Thanks Brickmamba! Thanks Behemoth! It would be nice to see something SoNE related like you have described it from you. Thanks a lot Markus! It's always a pleasure to get a comment from such an experienced builder like you!
  10. Wow, great freebuilds from you guys! I think I will also build something for the AoM challenge, the "House" category might fit for my next build.
  11. Excellent build here! What I really like is the irregular base, you should do them more often, because a base like that works really well and looks great. The hut is also well built, that technique you have used looks quite interesting and it is something I might try someday too. The textures of the ground are also well done, I like that you have mixed plates with studs and tiles and the little path that leads to the hut is also nice to look at.
  12. Nice podracer! I like the combination of white and grey, that choice of colors works really well. The greebling looks also very good - keep up that great work.
  13. Nice idea! I like the shape of the cockpit and the shape of the engines. But I have to agree with Sir Brickalot what concerns the back, I also think that it is a bit too square.
  14. I got myself some minifigs from a bricklink store, mainly to complete my Jabba collection. Bib Fortuna Boushh Malakili Oola Salacious B. Crumb Han Solo in Carbonite A-Wing Rebel Pilot
  15. - 2x 75034 - Death Star Troopers - 75020 - Jabba's Sail Barge I only bought the Sail Barge for the minifigs, the Barge will (hopfefully) be sold on ebay.
  16. Thanks legozebra! Exactly, these sarkly pink bricks are from the Belville theme, I think they are great to build some kind of neon banner. Thanks MKJoshA! And to make you even more jealous, I've got 6 Bith minifigs to complete the Modal Nodes/cantina band. (no one likes a bragger ) Thanks a lot etimessnar! I really recommend buying the Mos Eisley cantina, especially the minifigs are worth it. Thanks Retro! I hope not so, because it would be wasted talent.
  17. Nice little vignette! Like MstrOfPppts said before, the holes caused from blaster shots could be done better. But If you want to stick to this technique, I recommend another line of bricks behind the holes, so that you can't see through the wall. Nonetheless it's quite a nice creation.
  18. After our mission on Endor passed successfully and without major incidents, my officer decided to recommend me for my old unit. The request was granted. My first operation for my old and also new unit was on Nar Shaddaa, my former home place where my old career as a smuggler began. This time I did not operate on my own as usual, this time I operated with a Togruta bounty hunter, a companion of good old smuggler days. She understands her craft like barely anyone else and she knows the narrow streets and dark high-rise canyons like the back of her hand. The objective is a high-ranking Bith mercantilist from Clak'dor VII which, according to trustworthy sources, hast conspired against the Empire and is now hiding on Nar Shaddaa. To all appearances he expects an attack on his life, that's why he has secured the services of a mercenary. It would be too risky to kill him on the streets in front of an audience. Now we have to remain patient and unseen, we have to chase him on the countless platforms of the high-rise buildings and wait until he leaves the main streets to turn in one of the many side streets of the Moloch. I would like to have this freebuild judged.
  19. Thanks a lot to everyone who has commented on this build! It's always nice to see a comment from you two, because you are two of my favorite Imperial SoNE builders. So I really appreciate the fact that you have commented. I know that I have to improve my building technique when it comes to forests and trees and especially BEAVeR's comment is quite helpful. Unfortunatelly I have seen the last post to late to rework the MOC until the deadline, but I well keep your suggestions in mind.
  20. I wish there were minifigs of Pondo Baba and Cornelius Evazan. The new cantina would have been the best set to include them but unfotunatelly LEGO missed the chance to put them in there. Don't get me wrong, the new Mos Eisley cantina is a great set but it underachieved a bit because there were so many possibilities to include some unique characters that did not exist before as LEGO minifigs. An aunt Beru Lars minifig would also be great. I mean there are also two different kinds of Owen Lars minifigs but why has LEGO not done an Beru Lars minifig so far? The only option for this minifig would have been the new Sand Crawler but LEGO missed to include her in this set.
  21. Nice build! I like the use of the helmet from the Sauron's Mouth minifig for the end of the tail. The rockwork on the presentation plate is also well done, overall it's a fantastic creation.
  22. Haha, nice build, the idea of building a GoH styled football (or soccer ) stadium is brilliant. I love the crowd, especially the hilarious hats of the Avalonian supporters fit perfectly for a build like this one.
  23. Wat Tambor from Mitgardia, I vote for Nocturnus.
  24. Another nice build! What I like about this build is not only the tower with its great texturing and the half stud offsets (great idea ), it's also the beautiful landscape I fell in love with^^ The little swamp area is well done and the trees (I use that technique too and love it ) look great. Especially the earthy colors of the leaves and the path are an eye-cathcer.
  25. Nice build! The idea of building a fake bunker to distract the rebels from the real bunker away is great. The vegetation and foliage is alsow well done, it looks like on Endor.
