Great ship and great minifigs by the way, the fur hats look quite nice, I really have to get at least one or two of them. The design of the ship is really nice, I like the mix between viking longboat and medieval cog and the brick built sails also add a nice touch to your MOC.

This build is certainly very unique. I have never seen a tree like this in any other than your builds before and it looks quite funky. The castle itself is also nice to look at, the wall textures are very detailed and the roof of the great main tower looks a bit like it is out of a "The Elder Scrolls" game. The use of the chairs is also very creative.

Thanks a lot! It is actually the first time I use this trans-green tiles and the outcome looks pretty nice. Maybe I should use them more often. The one who is shooting is still a rookie, so no need to blame him. Thanks, I'm glad you like it! There are still a few weekends left till May 1st. I will try to complete the whole Archery challenge in order to enter the HoM. Thanks guys! Thanks a lot! The landscape was heavily inspired by "TES VI - Skyrim" and to be honest this target design was only my second choice. First I intended to use the 7979 Castle advent calendar target but it looked a bit inappropriate and then I came up with a hay target out of LEGO TECHNIC parts.

Nice work so far, I like the technique you have used for the ship's body part. I like the old figurehead more than the new, maybe you should try the old one (Loki's helmet) and combine it with the grey wing parts.

Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Wat Tambor replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
After spending some time with the LCC role play game I have finally decided to join GoH. I think due to LCC my building skills have improved a lot (early MOC -> a later MOC) but I knwo that there is still quite a lot of space for improvement and GoH might be the best place to do so. The faction choice was easy because most of my medieval minifigs include green and earthy colors. Now allow me to present you John Greencloack and his brother Petyr. -
I recently bought 79013 - Lake-town Chase via Amazon.de and saved 33% compared to the original price. A nice bargain for a set that's in stores for nearly one month.

Which is Your Favorite Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug Set?
Wat Tambor replied to Deathleech's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Mirkwood Elf Army has quite many minifigs and so it's a good army builder set. But I prefer Lake-town Chase because the set contains 3 brand new minifigures and a lot of brown pieces you can use for MOCs. The shields with the fish that are attached to the boat are also fantastic, at least for someone like me who likes to build "A Song of Ice and Fire" MOCs. These shields fit perfectly for House Tully of Riverrun.- 54 replies

[pid][/pid] 243A I'm pleased to present you my very first Pirates- related MOC. I hope thats the correct forum here on eurobricks to post that build. It features a few conquistador minifigs so it's technically based in the Pirates theme. As said before I really hope it belongs there if not to the Historic themes. The scene shows a day at the court of a Spanish nobleman during the era the New World, better known as South America, was discovered. I hope you like the MOC, comments are welcome!

Nice and humorous build! The MOC has that certain Classic Pirates set feeling. Keep it up!

Is it allowed to use flesh minifigs or should we use yellow ones? Fleshies are much more authentic.

I would love to take part in that contest but first of all I'll have to find a partner. I don't have a lot of Pirates minifigs but I have a few Conquistadores and quite a lot medieval/Renaissance minifigs. Are kind of "Exploring the New World" sets also allowed? EDIT: It would be great to work with someone who can also speak German (Austria, Switzerland...) for easier conversation purposes.

Fantastic story, I really love my Fabuland minifigs. Merry Christmas to all of you!

Well, I'm a little bit confused right now. I'm among the "Bonus!" category, does that mean I have won something or not?

Thanks a lot! Feel free to use the same kind of door on your next MOC. It's LEGO, everyone should be allowed to build what he wants! Thank you Gunman!

Hey folks, I want to present you my latest MOC, a little hut, called "Jarlof's shack". That's my first and hopefully not last attempt of building a medieval hut or house. Comments and constructive criticism are welcome!

I really enjoy watching your "Braveheart" MOCs. Great landscaping here, the trees are fantastic. I wish there was a tutorial how to create such realistic trees... The minifig posing and the huts are great as well. Keep it up! I hope there are some more Braveheart builds to come.

That wagon looks quite nice, I like its simplicity. Keep it but!

Well that sounds like great fun. I have never built anything that is related to City or Friends but I'll have a try.

Wow, that's a great raffle and some great prices to win. My entry: A 'Lord of the Rings' Nativity Scene that can be placed under the Christmas tree.

Well, I will have a look at it, but I think you have convinced me. Thank you.
