  1. Well, that's a touching story behind the creation but I am sure your father would have liked this creation. The ship looks really good and the little storyline is also nice to read. Did you made the sails yourself or are they from another non-LEGO ship model?
  2. This contest sounds like a lot of fun. I have tons of ideas for sets and minifigs that are still missing and the 16x16 category is also interesting. Now I have to read "The Hobbit" again for an inspiration what to build for the contest.
  3. Category A: #8 #11 #3 Category B: #6 #11 #10
  4. For minifigs bricklink is the best choice. There are quite a lot Lone Ranger minifigs for quite a cheap price compared to other licensed LEGO theme minifigs.
  5. Really nice job with the poster BEAVeR! That episode was great and both, the Imprials and the Rebels, had fantastic entries. Unfortunatelly I wasn't able to finish my final build on Bothawui, but I am looking forward to the next episode and building 16x16 was a lot of fun.
  6. Well, that's a nice build! I really like the dark colors of the landscape and all the little details you have added there, like those strange mushrooms and the chopped wood. The house itself is also very well built, I really like the textures of it and the pitched roof looks brilliant.
  7. This is such a beautiful creation, I can't stop watching the pictures on your flickr stream. I really like absolutely everything about this creation, whether it's the architecure or all the little details in this build. It's also nice to see that every picture has it's own little story that adds even more life to this LEGO creation. I wish you a lot of fun in Skaerbaek!
  8. I met markus himself just a month ago at an IDS-meeting and I saw some of his WIP creations. Especially his steampunk AT-AT was absolutely mindblowing! Congratulations to the win in the fbtb contest and of course also for being in the LEGO Star Wars book.
  9. That's definitely a nice idea and a great build! I really like that technique you have used to build the wall and it shows me that I need way more light bluish grey 1x2 tiles. All in all this is a nice little and well built creation, something I have never seen before and it really made me laugh.
  10. That new tag some of you got looks quite good. I should start to be more active in the GoH subforum again. But it's great to read that Challenge III takes place in Mitgardia but first I should get my character back from Avalonia.
  11. Nice entry! I like that SNOT ground and all the old droid parts in the background. But I am not so sure about that brown "building" maybe it would look even better with some grey colors in it because not it looks a bit like it is made out of wood. Oh and that little droid is quite a cute little fellow.
  12. Wow that's a great entry for the Rebellion and it's also great to see that you are back building for this episode. I like your new character, that flesh colors looks so much better than the yellow minifig colors.
  13. Great Fondor entry! I like all those industrial machines and the little details but the border looks also very good.
  14. It's a nice entry for the Rebellion! Though it looks a bit too oriental / mediterranean and not so much SciFi like. But as you have said there are not many pictures of the architecture of Bothawui in the Internet and that's also why I struggle with my planned 3rd entry.
  15. Seriously that is a nice entry! I like the colors you have used there and I think you have presented the planet of Ord Mantell quite well. It's also great to see that you use the sandtroopers with their dirty armor there, looks like they were searching through the junkyards all day long.
  16. Nice creation, I like that giant red flower and the idea of hiding in there and spying the Imperial troops. Maybe some more foliage or some small alien plants on the ground would make the MOC even better.
  17. There are quite a lot of AoM builds in recent times. Is there another challenge like the Hersir of Mitgardia military challenge or are these builds just for "fun"?
  18. Really nice dragon and great part usage on the head, that battle droid legs work perfectly for the nose. I have not known that there is a tan skeleton before I saw that MOC but it defininitely works with the PotC Davy Jones head and makes a great kitbash. Maybe you could change the white arms you have used there on the head to tan ones from the LotR Gollum minifig.
  19. Thank you MKJoshA! I originally inteded to build a part of a destroyed Republic vehicle but markus has done that already in his entry and so I decided to build an overgrown corner of a former base from the Clone Wars era. What concerns the Clone helmet, I have to say that I only have old Epi. III pilot helmets from the ARC-170 set and they would not have fit in there so I used the only standard Epi. II / TCW helmet I own. Furthermore I don't know much about the Clone Wars era besides the movies and the two Clone Wars cartoon movies, maybe there was a battle on Felucia in the TCW TV-series (?).
  20. Nice vignette, I think it represents Felucia quite well. I really like all that different alien kind of mushrooms, great use of some trans pieces. The big white plants do also look good and they somehow remind me of the Felucia chapters from TFU. Maybe you could have added some small plates in brown/dark tan or some other kinds of green to the ground to add some more ground textures. But overall it's a nice looking MOC!
  21. Nice second entry for the curren episode! The little story is quite amusing and the build itself also looks great. Especially the irregualr boder looks great and the random placed trees add a touch of reality to it. But as the user VK-318 has mentioned before you maybe should have added some blue parts to the micro X-wing.
  22. Thank you! I found that Spongebob parts along these trans pink flowers from Belville in a box of unsorted bricks. Thanks! The torso is 100% purist. It's the torso from the sandtrooper from the new Mos Eisley Cantina set.
  23. Mitgardia: Hersir of Archers

  24. Thanks a lot for all these kind comments! It's great to hear that you like this little vignette of mine. I think that murky green water fits perfectly for a planet that's one big junkyard because it looks quite poisonous and manky. This vignette was also a great possibility to use that cloth part from the Ewok glider. I wanted to use this part for quite some time and I think it perfectly fits for a sales stall. Edit: The next part of my Episode VI story is already up on eurobricks -> http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=99335
  25. My second entry, it takes place on Felucia: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=99335 Next and last stop: Bothawui !
