  1. Lucky, you've got a lego store where you live, the nearest one to me is across 2 states... Anyway, if you're lucky, you can find the original MC set at stores like FYE. If you can't find them, I guess you should just order them online, I wonder why they're not in the store?
  2. Hmm, maybe I'll use these for my rockcrawler, they look great! Probably only single ones though, it will look pretty weird.
  3. Nice, it looks amazingly like the normal set! How about other locations for the IR receiver, maybe the cabin?
  4. Just make a flickr and deeplink them. I can't wait to see some of your MOC's!
  5. He did also finish another one, but it seems like he abandoned the drag rig.
  6. piterx are you talking about the 2838 motor? Its 2000+ RPM speed makes it really fun to screw around with, and you can get them for $3 apiece. I think the square 9v motors actually have pretty good performance, though.
  7. It's probably from turning the rotation sensor, I think it's normal although I don't have one.
  8. Yeah, if I get a 9398 i'm getting those too. And @DreadedBeard you should post some of your MOCs, the ones I've seen are fantastic!
  9. Yes, it looks great, and welcome to EB! Is the u-joint to bevel gear transmission realistic? I guess it probably is, as you're modeling it after an actual bike. Good job, I can't wait to see this in real bricks! Also, is there any suspension on the front?
  10. Why are you even saying that though? Nothing for a very long time (or ever) will surpass the legendary 8880. I do agree though, 6211 sucks and 42009 really needs at least an XL.
  11. Efferman made one, I'm sure you can find the link somewhere. Maybe you should try one.
  12. I think so, but if you don't you could mount the arms sideways if you're planning on ramming into walls. I don't recommend the 2-speed tho, especially if you're using RC motors. Doesn't offsetting the links put stress on the u-joints?
  13. Yeah, it looks great! Could you go into a little more detail on how you made the wheels? Just stopping by in the Special Themes forum for 1 post, lol.
  14. Wow, it's amazing! How did he get the hole in the yellow stripe?
  15. Wow, I never even noticed it had an engine until now! Great job on fitting it in and making it look proportionate at that scale. I agree with Horace T, the exposed engine looks better. By the way, what kind of suspension is that?
  16. Wow, that's stunning! I can't wait to see the finished product.
  17. You would probably need at least 2 XL's to get that speed, although it might be doable. Amazing job on your baja boss, it is stunning!
  18. Unimog tires in the back? Nice job reverse engineering.
  19. How about 1 or 2 small cylinders multiplied by a linkage?
  20. I don't know if it will fit, however they do look a bit thin. Well I hope it works, and also welcome to Eurobricks!
  21. In 8069 backhoe, there are I think 2 or 4 1x6 [stickered] plates that say TECHNIC on them.
  22. Really, I've never had an axle melt before. I have gotten my finger stuck between two 24t gears on an XL though, it was painful.
  23. Oh yeah, I forgot about that one, also in 8420 Street Bike. I don't have one, but I'm pretty sure the rigidity is adjustable.
  24. Well, I think pneumatic cylinders are your best option, however they do leak over time, but they are adjustable and at full pressure are nearly impossible to move.
