    Could you shift the lifeboats forward 1 module to put the engine in a more accurate position? the battery box in the bow isn't a bad place to hide it.

    Fantastic more photos of the "c" model. i thought I saw a gear lever in the video. i assume this would work like the original model and how lots of gearboxes work with just different size gears on 2 shafts

    Do you think we could somehow convince TLG to release the combination model as a stand alone set ? (And fix the colour scheme)

    I think the Anniversary super car combined model would go well on my desk at work, looks about the right size to replace my Marvel mini fit display case, especially as I'm primarily a technic man and I work in the car industry. So I'm guessing instructions online in august ? And then it'll be a brick link session ! might have to fix some of the colours though.

    Jim / Milan - have you ever considered a "Great Egg Race" type competition? It used to be a great programme when I was younger, worth a YouTube search

    Now why can't that combined set (minus the bits you don't need) be a proper set? It's a homage to an old supercar. Just what I assume a few of us would love as an Anniversary set.

    Not loving them at all. Fire truck looks bland. Adventure thing looks odd and purple! (I don't have purple in my colour mix yet). The big truck looks huge, and I just don't get it! Not sure about the colour combination either. Oh well so my for the 40th Anniversary... #disappointed

    I'm hoping that there's a surprise Anniversary set too. I'm not liking any of the current offerings and at the moment wondering what to buy just to get the Anniversary brick and say I have an Anniversary set!

    Think I'll keep mine "pure" with out trying to find those extra side stickers. They do look good but all the promo shots of the real car I find are without them, I assume they're an option like most things on a Porsche! but my main question about the stickers was how robust are they. Do they stick really well and last a long time and if I box it away survive contact with other bricks ?

    Finally got my Porsche and I have the 30bits for the minimal mod in this link. the question is to sticker or not ? My model will be built, displayed for a while (couple of months I guess) and then it'll get packed away in its box until I decide to build it again. So should I apply the stickers or not ? thoughts?

    I must say but I'm in danger of not buying any technic sets in it's anniversary year. I haven't bought any H1 sets as nothing grabbed me. The jet is too wrong for someone with an Aeronautical Eng degree , the ship looks great but is too "City" for me, the Tracked Racer is too expensive for what it is and I've built my own version with only a small Bricklink order, the BMW is just too wrong under the saddle (which is very disappointing) and I'm not that keen on the smaller sets. i was hoping for a great H2 flagship but if the 6x6 is it then it's not for me. Fingers crossed the other 2 models are better, or there's a surprise Flagship model above the 6x6, or that there's another Technic "UCS" Car (but I think general opinion is it will skip a year). so perhaps my Future Lego purchases this year will be limited to Non-technic (I've bought the Porsche recently though) ... holding out for another Creator car, the Ideas Saturn V, and then wishful thinking for a UCS Milano (GotG) and a good UCS Star Wars set

    Thanks Jim. time to do a small bricklink order this afternoon. hoping that H2 has some sets I actually want to buy as I've avoided purchasing all the H1 sets, but feel I need to buy something at some point for the anniversary.

    I'm looking at building the Tracked Racer from all my bits I already have. I don't think I have the 2 small pipes, 6145214. Anyone know what other code numbers this goes by as I can't find it on bricklink ?

    English may be my natural language but I'm rubbish at it that's why I'm an engineer ! OK I'll rephrase ... From all the usual leaks etc are we getting a follow-up "UCS Technic" model or was the Porsche a one off ?

    Do we know for sure that there will be a follow-up to the Porsche set this year ? I've been holding off buying it but now i'm wondering if i buy it more as a collectors item if its going to be a product line of "UCS" Technic cars

    All the 2017 sets are available in the uk now, well Lego store in Manchester at least ... now what should I buy ? no jet though

    sorry to drop into a Theme I'm not normally around but came here care of the Batman CMF When i saw the silhouette on the sheet i only thought of one thing ... the bard ... but perhaps that's because I'm British ? he does also appear as a big minifigure in the tube train in the Leicester Square store.

    Hi all, Sorry ask ask again but can someone post a clean link to an LDD of the original model ? Also is there an LDD for the pendular/driven front axle mod ? including the fix for the front arches I want to ditch the motor/battery and put in a lego engine and have it driven by the wheels, then try and colour match it as best as possible. hopefully will start playing over christmas
