  1. You should probably try to reduce the steering link angle.
  2. Weird, I was just thinking about this. Are you goind to use spring-under or spring-over?
  3. Think about it for a minute. It actually will work. Remember, the driveshaft is going into the differential as opposed to driving the differential cage.
  4. I found out that the steering in set 8066 uses the exact same concept I was trying to suggest.
  5. Try something like this: lol , where the two "l"s are on top of a beam, and the "o" is a bush on a crank mounted to the servo. Sorry I can't put an image, I'll see if I can find one someone else did.
  6. Those wheels have been used. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=87903&view=&hl=&fromsearch=1
  7. This is very neat. I'll have to build this sometime.
  8. Huh, I didn't think Lego actually ever used this.
  9. I don't think they are, and I'll check if they have a replaceable spindle. I have some on a robot right now.
  10. In most cases, shorter wishbones means less travel.
  11. That already is a double wishbone suspension.
  12. Why don't you make a topic called "Effe's new part ideas" or something like that for all these new part ideas?
  13. Those are cool. However, I think the Vex robotics mecanum wheels are cooler. http://www.vexrobotics.com/vex/products/accessories/motion/276-1447.html
  14. I've noticed this too. I actually got this differential from my dad's old Lego collection. He had it in the dragster set, which only had a two cylinder engine.
  15. Coming from the man who builds suspensions on a regular basis... Don't mean to sound rude, but you really don't see a use for this? If you somehow export this file to the format used in LDraw ( I think it's .dat), people could experiment with the part in LDraw. 17. That would be useful, but I think an axle would help, since the ball joint socket shouldn't need to rotate.
  18. That's the "minimotor", not the micromotor
  19. I mean the suspension, if you don't have the Unimog ball joints.
  20. Very cool! Why is there a center differential, though?
  21. Man, that looks nice! I worry about those CV joints, though.
