  1. Beta-tester Consider the idea supported by myself. There was a lot of fun stuff and great builds lost to the closing of the game and an actual set or two would be great. - To you, are there any particular things (locations, mini-builds, NPC's, etc.) that should be included in a LU set? I was always a fan of any Venture League member. Renee Tombcrusher would be a cool figure to see or the LU iteration of Sky Lane. Of course, the leader Hael Storm would be great too. Locations wise, well... I loved Gnarled Forest but mini-builds wise the space craft were best. - What is your favorite faction? Venture League! - Would you be interested in buying a LU set? If they had existed at the time I would have and I certainly would now.
  2. Man, I did have fun on that game, even if there were some issues there. Great build! I can recall sending my figure off and exploring through that land!
  3. Now that is a possibility. Has the problem repeated at all? If you've not had a PM since, I can drop one over as a test and we can see if you get two notifications.
  4. And I think you have proven the point that this thread is early and currently unnecessary.
  5. Hmm, that is one for the site Admin. I will bring this to their attention. Just a check though: You didn't by any chance get two replies to the PM? (Not criticising, it is just one of those questions you've gotta ask when troubleshooting)
  6. Sorry, you can't. You can leave the forum and not log in again, but that is about it. We are not in the habit of deleting threads and posts unless they are obvious spam.
  7. Oh my gosh that Strongman! I love the little moustache and the classical look of the guy. Dark Elf is awesome, the weapon could be a new design (Though the PoP blade is really nice and looks stylish in black) if they ever did make a minifigure like that I love the Explorer and the Saracen too. Great work on a entire series of CMFs.
  8. It is time to get voting on the Local Landmarks Contest! You have three points to give. These can be awarded in any of the combinations below 1 point to three MOCs 2 points to one MOC and 1 to a second 3 Points to one MOC Please Vote in the Format: Entry -- Points -- For example: Entry Z - 3 Choose your favourite(s) and make a post detailing how you are voting. Who wins? The entry with the most points will win, followed by second. In the event of a tie, EB staff will use additional criteria to decide the winner. Our decision will be final. Who can vote? Every member that was registered before the day the contest was announced (June 3rd, 2016) can vote. Contestants may vote, but not on their own entry. Last date to vote Preliminary set to July 20th, 2016 CET. Important There is absolutely zero tolerance for tactical or rigged voting, i.e., to have friends vote for your entry just because you asked them. Now, in no particular order the entries to consider! Each picture links to their respective entry thread. 9. We're now closed! Stay tuned for a voting thread soon. Lots of great entries to consider
  10. So long as it is still the 3rd by GMT, you can post. But it has to come in with a date of 3/7/16 or 3rd July 2016.
  11. Also, it puts off new members. When you join a forum, you want to post an introduction, you want to share a MOC or some-such. To not be able to do so is annoying.
  12. Grey is fine, sorry for the late reply!
  13. Guys, can you drop it now then? Not exactly on topic is it.
  14. Postage costs are a nightmare from the US. Then there is import/export taxes that jack up the price even more! Trust me, it looks great initially but then it ends up costing an arm and a leg. (Take it from someone who wants to get Target figure cubes, certain exclusive Converse shoes and any and all merch from certain franchises that retailers in the UK do not think are popular enough)
  15. Moving to Media
  16. There is a thread for this sort of discussion in the correct forum. So, please use it
  17. I love the colours and new wedge parts, the huge numbers of new pyramid 1x1 draws me to the theme too.
  18. Too bad we can't get a figure of her yet. Hopefully if the theme continues we'll see our Hammerin' gal. I've been picking up a few sets since the supermarkets are doing random clearances/price drops on things. I have no idea of the logic but I am taking advantage of Aaron's flyer being dropped from £30 to £20 for no real reason and random selections of ultimates going down below the £5 barrier (£5 being the price point where I am likely to decide tospend on a LEGO set instead of a bunch of snacks and chocolate. Great diet plan). The magazines here in the UK seem to be a little behind the continent, but I think they'll turn up soon.
  19. Well, I was wondering if it was Burly specific in that it came in special scents for the manly man. Like Sawn Lumber, Beer and Gasoline.
  20. A LEGO replica of a now lost local landmark is just fine. It acts like a tribute too.
  21. I picked out some that was for "Face cream for burley men." Made me chuckle.
  22. Beer and music are the resources I use most when building! Admittedly, it is often a root-beer or ginger ale for the daytime, but I like something with a few more hops when I get my build on in the evening. I also keep my tablet to hand, so I can pick up and check if a part I think I need for a MOC comes in the colour I need and if so, do I own the set. I do try to avoid referring too much as I feel it stifles creativity, but sometimes it is the only solution.
  23. Someone loves Chima! That is a fantastic collab build. It must have got a great response from the crowd, and most importantly been a lot of fun!
  24. Yes, there is a LEGO Multimedia section specifically for this sort of thing
  25. Sorry it wouldn't qualify. This contest has to be a structure local to you and that sounds very far away from Local.
