What you SHOULD get from this is that ZCereberus has taken it upon himself to do all the legwork while the Guild leaders are busy, like getting more people involved in GoH, Getting Tags for Historicans and getting us Frontpaged! Z has been doing a tremendous amount of work to keep GoH going, and we are in a transition period between the first set of Challenges and the next set of Challenges. WE are in discussions as to how to proceed with the next chapter of GoH, and Z has been kind enough to provide insight to everyone into our discussions about what would be good for GoH and what people are wanting to see. We are also in transition between Guild Leaders, which takes some time. We are trying to set things up so more HIstoricans can be involved with the future of GoH, as well as keep GoH interesting and appealing to the members. We want to make sure we have a good direction going forward, and the entire goal is to make this a fun forum that people want to stay involved with.

Amazing! This far surpasses my expectations for this set! The only negatives IMO are the non printed Leia legs, and no Endor Han. Amazing set nonetheless! 4 Trees! 3 new Ewoks! Such beautiful details! Stunning!

Looks superb! Can't wait to see the finished product! -
The Drow are still alive and unwell, there is just a prominent Drow builder who can no longer contribute. I was unaware that Mpya Stedor had such strong ties to the Drow - they would do well to disassociate themselves, but maybe the problem runs deeper... While the Wiki is nice, prospective members should be required to put some effort in if they want to join. At least do a little research on their chosen guild beforehand.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 10 Discussion
Rogue Angel replied to CM4Sci's topic in Special LEGO Themes
This is my favorite series yet. Let me count the ways: There have been 4 great historical army builders up to this point (Spartan, Roman Legionnaire, Musketeer and Aztec Warrior.) There have been 3 good historical army builders that are upgraded versions of existing figures (Samurai, Viking and Conquistador) and then multiple other historical figures that I don't consider good army builders even though some them are pretty cool (Gladiator, Highlander, deep Sea Diver.) Series 10 has 3 more great army builders in the Revolutionary Soldier, the Tomahawk Warrior and the Roman Commander. IMO this series almost doubles the number of great historical army builders. There have been two amazing fantasy figures (Elf & Dwarf), 8 great fantasy figures (Minotaur, Cyclops, Genie, Merman, Forest Maiden, Bat, Valkyrie and Evil Knight) and then assorted lesser fantasy figures IMO (Good knight, Witch, etc.) Series 10 adds 2 more great figures with Amazon Warrior and Medusa. Series 10 adds another costumed character with the bee girl. Series 10 has arguably the best sports army builder with the new baseball player. (I don't build City MOCs, so the quality of City figs in general will not hold much sway in my opinion of a set) The 1 thing Series 10 is lacking is futuristic characters, no space Marines, Aliens, Robos, Zombies, etc. Series 10 also has a number of useful pieces, the seagull being the best accessory to date IMO. All in all, Series 10 has 6 great army builders, a costume character and a number of brand new pieces making it the best series to date IMO.- 1,076 replies

2 x 2.5 is doable but I don't think 2.5 x 2.5 is. -

Will either of these be making an appearance at Brickworld? -
I doubt it. Those 3 figs are going to be much more expensive then Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli, and I would think you'd break even with MSRP at best. I would pick up the ship on sale and sell off the figs you don't want.

I believe I have already been in contact with most of the people going to Brickworld Chicago, but please let me know if you are going and have not spoken with me yet. I have a table specifically for GoH.

So many questions left unanswered here! The first build is my favorite, and I really like the use of the modern lightpoles. Where are those windows from? I also really like the way you show the blood spewing from ... Victor? Can't wait to see the rest of the story - Great entry!

Excellent to have you back again! The first build is my favorite, and I like the blue border along the bottom as well as the brick work in the wall. The chicken ending is brilliant! -
Challenge 6: Storm Cedrica! Slay the Sorceror!

Nice story, and I like the way you show the magic in the last scene. I also like the repaired wall section and the goblins clinging to the walls. Great to see another Nocturnus entry! -
Challenge VI: The end of an era, the beginning of another
Rogue Angel replied to Kayne's topic in Guilds of Historica
I like the use of the microbuild, and the little castle is well done. I also like the larger castle, but the throne room is definitely my favorite. The wall pieces worked great, and I too don't remember seeing them before. I also really like the brazier/firepit in the middle, and the design details around the globe. The story is best part though, and the twist at the end is exellent. Great entry!- 19 replies

Quite the story... transforming into ducks is a great idea, and I really like the build that shows them going through the well. Your first build is my favorite, and is reminiscent of Derfel's building style. I love the smoke coming out of the chimneys, and you did a great job on the brick and woodwork for the buildings. I love the wall technique on the 2nd build, and I really like the twisting pillars in the 3rd build and the candles are genius! Excellent job!

A-MAZING! I always love your builds, and this may be my favorite entry for this challenge. The first castle is fantastic, and I love all the action that's going on. The crenellations on top are probably my favorite part but I love the stonework, the curvature and the rocks embedded in the wall. The 2nd build is superb as well, with your typical building style. There are a number of things I really like about the final build as well. The pillars along the upper wall are excellent, the throne, the bed, the fireplace.... So much to love in your builds. Fantastic entry!

Great entry! I really like the white/dk blue combo in the first build, and the use of the windows, axle bricks and tiles really makes the scene. My favorite scene is the last one, from the plants to the purple vials/mushrooms. I love the use of the dinosaur flippers and the alternate mushroom usage. I also love the use of Chima figs, and I will be using them shortly. Excellent job!

You're entries are always on such a grand scale. I love the forced perspective in the first build, and the smaller castle is excellent. My favorite build is the castle from the outside. I love all the crenellations, the windows, all the details. What a massive build in a 48x48 space! The interior build is excellent as well, from the stained glass windows to the floor. The throne is my favorite part of all the builds. Excellent entry yet again!

It's one thing to discuss rumors or state that you would like to see a particular set. It's another matter to just list off all the possible sets you can think of or would like to see. That type of post does not belong in this thread.

Ha! That's awesome that he missed the battle entirely! I was not expecting that. The ship is excellent, and I like the use of 2x1 plates in your other builds. I don't know that I will ever have the patience to build walls with those, but they look great! Nice job on the first 2 builds as well, and the spy looks really funny in the last picture. Great entry!

Great story! It always takes a while to read through the stories for your builds. I would think Zakon would be quite interested in the magic that engulfed this castle...
