I wish this would have been a special series like the Olympics series instead of wasting a standard CMF series release.

Well this is disappointing news for series 12, 13 and 14 to say the least. 12 will not have the range of the previous series, especially if we are getting rereleases, series 13 will be about 1/2 redundant (figs you can already get in sets) and have no army building Potential, and series 14 may or may not be good, but I'm not expecting the caliber of a standard CMF series. This will save me a TON of money, but I'd rather be spending that money on quality CMFs...

Yes and yes. You can build MOCs of whatever you would like. The Challenges will have directions and constraints but your "free builds" can be whatever you would like.

The mini challenges will vary by guild, but they should all have roughly the same number of challenges over all. DC, when I went to Brickworld, I had a binder showing pictures of different GoH builds for people to browse in hopes of gaining members. I don't know if it was succesful though. I'm sure Ecclesiastes would be fine with you using the new symbol, right Ecclesiastes?

There is not an issue with some Drow having white skin. The Drow were created in the Forgotten Realms of Dungeons and Dragons, and they have white hair and Ebony skin. Up to this summer, white hair was not a widely available Lego part. Thanks to Count Dooku, this has been remedied. There is still the matter of an appropriate head for them. As the Drow are subterranean dwellers, it is logical (you might even say MORE logical) that there would be some pale skinned Drow. The only member to post pictures of Lego Drow to this point was Angeli, and all his Drow had pale skin. I have a Bricklink order that should be arriving any day now, after which I will be able to start killing Drow with my Elves.

Drow have dark skin, not white.

Thank you all for choosing Avalonia and providing updated sigfigs and bios. I will be updating the map and members soon. Hopefully we will hear from a few more of our longtime Avalonians and lure a few more members from the other guilds.

I think with the Hobbit and LotR both, nothing is for sure (third waves) so I will be happy with whatever comes out. I am excited for TB5A because of the army builder potential.
