  1. I guess my point is that I don't understand why some people think that anyone actually cares about some "teasers" for a model that they are working on. In fact the video that you posted of your "Master Piece" actually looks more like a sneak peek for it rather than an actual video demonstrating what it does.
  2. Not to be rude, but what is it with builders that they feel the need to offer "Sneak Peaks"? I am seeing this more and more.
  3. I don't think this topic is really about studded Vs studless "Technic" building, just the studded appearance overall.
  4. I completely agree with the WOW factor thing. when you see a model that is made out of Legos that doesn't look like it, that is pretty impressive. But there is nothing wrong with a nice old school looking studded model either. Everyone has their preferences. I just love how Legos keep evolving for the better.
  5. Wow! that is massive! Great Work! I must have missed your successful supercar. Do you have a link for it?
  6. There shouldn't be much to review with the crowkillers Chevy model. He has his name on them.
  7. Now if there was just some way to prove that the builder behind the model was of proper age.
  8. Yes, I agree, but perhaps those models were indeed built by the proper age group? Supposedly the finalists are picked by Lego's own Technic designers. Which seems odd because I know that when Paul built that Camaro a few years back, it was all over the net at many different websites. Seems strange that wasn't caught.
  9. I wonder how many "Gallardos" were submitted and got rejected? Lego might as well just have their contests for copied MOC's. IMO, these contests are stupid anyways.
  10. lol. Are you joking? The 8070 has 1,281 and this new set doesn't look like it has even half of that many.
  11. lol. I don't think the 8070 is worth tearing apart to build that.
  12. Hmmm. This model looks rather uninspired coming from TLC. Also agree with the grey angle pieces. that just doesn't look right at all.
  13. Paul, are you entering the contest? Your work is really amazing.
  14. Yes, that is what I am talking about, or just modded versions of other builder's cars.
  15. Why do you say that? There are not only many old rare parts that I would like to see again, but also current parts that were made in certain colors that are no longer attainable.
  16. There will probably be a lot of builder's older models submitted for this month's challenge as well as a lot of stolen models.
  17. I always thought the 4 alternate body models were kind of ugly.
  18. Or even steal other's designs and profit from them.
  19. I wonder if the MOC will live up to the hype that is being created for it?
  20. lol. I don't understand why there is this big secretive announcement debut but he has the CAD file for the chassis available.
  21. It looks like the person who built this did it rather hastily and quickly just to make a buck. They must not have had any black bushings for the front, so they just left them light grey. Paul, I don't blame you for not wanting to be connected to this model.
  22. Actually I see that they broke up 3 of the Power Puller sets. I thought that there were only 2 of the liftarms, but there are actually 8 in each set. They are also selling the Yellow technic man from the set and they have 3 of him. I don't think that you can get parts from lego Direct that are no longer being made. I could be wrong though. I have never ordered from Lego direct.
  23. What I would like to know is where does someone just come out of the blue with 24 1 x6 thin yellow liftarms that are NEW. Now no one in their right mind would break up 12 brand new Power Pullers sets, so where are these people getting them from?
