Really? I mean Really??? I know these technic parts are rare, but c'mon. The worst part is, I am tempted to buy them. Does anyone know why these technic connectors were never made again after the Power Puller set? You would think with all of the yellow sets that have come out that these parts would have been used again at some point. THIS is even worse. $10.99???

[REVIEW] 8070 Supercar

I really don't think that the power functions work well with motorizing the drive train in larger scale cars like this, the car is just going to be slow. There is a reason why there is only one type of driven vehicle that uses these PF motors right now. And while some people think that the new functions are stupid, these types of functions are a first for a Lego Technic set. I just wish that inside of the car were a little nicer looking. -
Lego Technic Clones

I can confirm that these sets are garbage and manufactured from cheap plastic. I have seen an Enzo Ferrari Racer(8653)set up close and it is trash. -

Walmart actually does carry all Lego sets including Technic, but they are only available for ordering online. -

Paul, does that really work? Could that damage the motor over time? Could you post up some pictures of how you dd this. Thanks. -
Large Scale Technic Cars

They look like they are both Paul Boratko's Gallardo designs, but they appear to be altered somewhat and the Yellow Murcielago looks like there are some things not quite put together correctly. -

One of the problem with the new smaller rechargable battery box is that it doesn't have any technic holes for mounting. -

I think I am going to alter the rear end of our model to look something like the picture below. I would much rather have a nice hidden knob to operate the functions rather than the motor and ugly battery box. -

I picked up 2 of these on Saturday at Toys R Us(couldn't pass up on the buy one get 50% off deal) the kids and I spent all day yesterday building it and they love it! My only gripes with it is the odd interior work with irregular seats and the ugly battery box hanging out of the rear end. The car looks so beautiful from all angles until you get to the back view. I agree with you guys that it would have been nicer with the motor being optional. Also, Blakbird, I notice that you have the wheels on the traditional way. Do you also prefer them that way? We thought that they looked better that way as well. -

The Murcielago is probably my favorite technic car so far. I am forced to build it in red though because those yellow parts are just impossible to find -

Blakbird, how difficult is it to get all of these parts? And is this all of the portions of the car? By the way, all of the chrome really looks amazing! -

Now all you need is Industrial Designer's Concept Car! What do you mean you built the V12 all in chrome? -

1,724 parts! Eric, I have another question. Why is it that the renders come out slightly skewed? For example, it appears in the renders that the car is longer than it actually is. LOL, or is it just me?
