  1. Eric you mean that is your model(I know crowkillers designed it, but you built it) in the picture? How many parts are in it? Is it a pretty good model? I always thought that it looked fantastic.
  2. I seen that. I wonder how much $ he had invested in it though? Those wheels that were on it were probably not cheap to get plated.
  3. I do remember reading that he was not making money on selling his Lambo kits and was just doing it to help people get all of the parts in one shot so that they could build his model.
  4. Wow. That looks really awesome(but also kind of gaudy) with the gold wheels and grill. and I also can clearly see from the top view that his control box is centered. Any guesses on what it will bring?
  5. I haven't built the car yet, so I don't know the answer yet, but why would they not have it right in the center? I know it isn't really a big deal, but still.
  6. I figured that the steering wheel didn't actually work, but why wouldn't they have the function box centered between the seats? That is kind of a bummer.
  7. No, I think the 4 function control box is very interesting. I was talking about the guys that said that this car should have had an actual 4 speed transmission(like the 8880 had) I think that would be a step back, not the gearbox/control box that is in the 8070.
  8. I think a 4 speed transmission is kind of a step back from the 5 speed with reverse transmissions that we have previously had.
  9. What is really funny is that most of Lego's themes revolve around some type of battle.
  10. You have got to be kidding. Some people are just immature and think that their style is the only style. But that is still very rude. I guess for some people it is just hard to appreciate technic building. Welcome to the forum Paul!
  11. I do not see any comments there now, so they must have been deleted. Nico I think it would be best to just delete what was posted in your post here. There is no reason to dwell on this anymore. I have e-mailed Paul earlier about this matter too. Perhaps he didn't even know about it?
  12. I really love what he has done here and I see he changed the spoiler from red to black. It looks even better.
  13. Wow! Awesome! I can't wait.
  14. Ugh! not another red car I was so excited to be able to possibly build this in yellow only to find out that so many parts are so hard to get. Black also looks to be out of the question as I also cannot find any of the long flexible axles in black and the long skinny panels in the front also don't come in black.
  15. LOL. I actually was thinking the same thing because I loved watching That 70's Show
  16. I have always thought it was pronounced TECK-NICK and that it how it sounds in the commercial posted above.
  17. Some of the yellow parts that he used are no longer in production and I cannot find them anywhere.
  18. Perhaps it is some type of Police vehicle? flashing red and blue lights would be cool on a technic model!
  19. Thanks again Blakbird! I am hoping that crow gets some new pictures up, especially of the center of the Murcielago. I can make out pretty much everything else, but the middle has me slightly confused. I am also not sure how the rear is exactly done. I am also really intrigued with this new Supercar that he has constructed. The body seems moderately simple, but yet also very well done and very eye appealing. I am also curious as to how he packed all of those functions into such a tight space.
  20. Anyone have any idea what this new 8081 extreme crusier is? The price would suggest that it isn't a flagship model, but I wonder what it could be? Some type of police vehicle with flashing red/blue lights? When I think of a cruiser, I think of a police car.
  21. I was curious about the doors he designed on his Murcielago. Are they true to Lego specs? It looks to me like some of the angles that he achieved throughout the car may not all be "legal" so to speak. I am looking forward to building his model. I have been trying to collect the parts, but I can't find some of them.
  22. Thanks Blakbird. I appreciate your input. It appears that someone out there has built Paul's model. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=455013 It looks like they have a few errors in the door area though. Have you built the model yourself? From the pictures in Paul's folder, it looks fantastic.
  23. That is a good point. also, from the 8070 pictures it appears that they have used some worm gears. At least I think they are worm gears. that would definitely work for slowing things down and also work really well if you are using a motor. By the way Blakbird, I seen the renders of the Murcielago on brickshelf. Very nice job. Does this possibly mean that instructions may be on the way?
  24. The pics are up at brickshelf. Amazing use of the new panels. Very impressive.
