On the LotR and The Hobbit 2013 thread, towards the end, we discuss extensively the possibility or impossibility of trans-minifigs. Check it out.

I'm sorry. Sometimes something bugs me and I want to do something about it. I'll leave it to the moderators next time.
-
Yeah, but to create the right look, the stickers would be full color, on the trans-blue, to give the blue aura/transparent feel.

I'm sorry if I'm late to this, but I laughed at the "How to commit Arson" section! Hilarious! Great job once again! -
Bad wording. Would that be easy, was what I meant to say! Now I think it would be possible, but more tricky than anticipated.

Yeah, that would be pefect. Color stickers on trans-blue bricks, maybe the piece linked below, built into a forest wall? http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=46212

Let me guess: When a CGI picture of the Mouth of Sauron comes out, you'll make it your profile pic?

I'm sorry, but could you have more relevant comments?

Any minifig would feel that way! My favorite minifigures of this wave are Max Rebo, Stass Allie, Slave Leia, the Jedi Consular, and Dooku.

Love the Gary Oldman reference, Oky! The Kraang one is so true! Great job!

That one looks so much better than the official combo. Would that be possible in real life?

I love your name for "retailer-that-shall-not-be-named!" Is it Wal, or K? (mart). Someone else mentioned the Skydiver's use as an ADU paratrooper earlier...- 1,076 replies

I actually don't like Ree-Yees. He looks too happy, and not too accurate. I like this unofficial one much better:

Didn't yield anything at Target. TRU has 'em, and so does K-Mart, and Barnes and Noble. There are a few solutions!

I don't want to be a party pooper, Knight Solaire, but one recommendation on Eurobricks is not to quote pictures, as it clutters pages. Just type *snip* or *pic* so we know what you're talking about. I like the Dead, but trans-helmets and arms would make them significantly better. But think of it this way: if they looked that good, we'd never have a chance of one in a polybag! The Black Gate combo, as discussed before, is annoying, because you have two sets of doors, one on each side. It should really allow one central pair of doors when combined. Deskp's photoshop looks much better.

^^ Agreed. I am looking for him, but I won't be absolutely devastated if I don't get him, and by no means am I a completionist, as I am missing quite a few CMFs. The Bumblebee Girl was a bit of a disappointment to me, as the physical face looks weird, as opposed to the render. Maybe it's just me.- 1,076 replies

I personally am fine with both the OT and PT, but I'm partially biased toward the PT, as I started with that. For those who don't know, the new Slave Leia is brilliantly designed to allow her braid to go around the chain attached to the neck bracket.
-
The Barnes and Noble near the TRU I checked a while ago has one. It used to be in thd "World of Tolkien" display.
-
That's a great deal if I ever saw one! Thanks, Deathleech. I checked a TRU yesterday, and they had it. I was unprepared and didn't get it. Now I'm almost glad, as Deathleech has a better solution. Thanks!

Force ghosts may be out of LEGO's league. Force ghosts are solid colors, with a blue aura and are transparent. Trans-blue minifigs wouldn't work, especially since Yoda's head is rubber.

You've been a good member of the LEGO community! Where would we be without your bookmarking online retailers with "Search Results for 'lego'"? -
Agreed. That's why I'm getting it. Who thinks that LEGO should have used the Jedi Knight's horn piece in flesh for Sugi and printed her ponytail on the back?
-
I don't understand stickers putting someone off of a set. Just don't apply them. I always apply stickers, as there are sets that are improved by them, and it is good practice for the sets that are better with them. We are not having a great OT year. Just two sets to finish off the scenes with Jabba (though those are my favorite.) Maybe the Comic-Con will show us some more?

Hey, I see a blue ice cream in the pot on the Sail Barge. First time in that color outside of SpongeBob! I like the Spider Droid, but the Stealth Starfighter will be on the line. Since it is LEGO created for the Star Wars franchise, it is certainly original, and Jek is a cool minifig, but I may or may not get it.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 10 Discussion

Um, apparently a comment I typed didn't sumbit. I hit up a Walmart, a TRU, and a Target in the same area yesterday, and the Target was the only place with S10s, and that was picked-over. I got a Grandpa, though. I saw a man in the aisle with a little boy (6, 7, or 8 years old). MAN: Have you found that Mr. Gold yet? ME: Um, no. I haven't. MAN: Do you know the code on the bag? ME: Well, there was a picture published, but everyone said that it wasn't him, so I just feel the bags. MAN: Oh, well he (gestures to little boy, who must be his son) has a Mr. Gold, so I have a picture of the bump code I can show you. (pulls out phone and shows me picture, very similar, if not the same as the one published on Brickset). ME: Oh, that's cool. Thanks! MAN: (walks down aisle away from me) Good luck! ME: Thank you! It's nice to know that there are some helpful people in this world. He didn't seem like the put-it-on-eBay type, and he was trying to help me. I actually believe that it is his son who has Mr. Gold, not the man. He just didn't seem like the type.- 1,076 replies
