It's probably a giant minifig build, like Jek-14. They make character builds at events all the time.

Mr. Gold number up to 9 in IL. Wonder if I should give up or keep looking in the hopes that I'll be insanely lucky. I want him, but it is so annoying that the odds are against anyone... I probably won't get him, but I could. Not feeling hopeful.- 1,076 replies

Wouldn't be LEGO Yoda, without rubber head, I think! Head made out of plastic, not likely it is. I think the Duel on (yet another set in) Geonosis the Sail Barge, and the Spider Droid are the best ones. I shouldn't complain about Jabba's barge, as I don't have the old one, so any repesentation is welcome.

@Doctor_ocks: That's why I was talking about two-color capes in the first place. The review pointed Elrond,s out, and I tried to remember the most recent precedent. : ) Funny how some of the stuff in the summer wave has such little screen time. The Corsair ship isn't exactly iconic, and a few minutes after the Mouth of Sauron's introduction, off with his head. I think that would be sort of funny and gruesome to sneak into the description: *Sneak in through the hidden door! *Charge into Mordor! [because one does not simply walk in] *Decapitate the Mouth of Sauron! *Combine two sets for a bigger gate! [like we want another Mouth to feed!]

I forgot about Zurg andI didn't know about Aragorn. Two-color capes are always welcome, as they add just one more aspect of detail!

There's no knowing about 2014 yet. The Toy Fair next year will tell. A Jedi Temple would be good, but I wouldn't want my CW Barriss Offee minifig anywhere near it!

Wow. Lots of enthusiasm and rapid speech! I think the hidden Eye under the catapult is quite creepy. Arwen looks quite nice, as does Elrond. When did we last see a two-color cape? Was it the Studios Vampire? Saw the Battle review as well. I thought the Eye of Sauron in the palantir was a 1x1 cylinder, not a minifig head! I like it better that way.

Sorta disappointing that they reused Jace Malcolm's head for the Bounty Hunter in the Stealth Fighter. What is the trans-blue gattling-gun-like piece you took a pic of used for? The Super Commandos and Uruk-Hai look quite similar by markings. Maybe the Commandos wear the Black Hand of Namuras? The piece:

What set do you like the best. or if you can't pick, what do you like best about each set? That Sail Barge is good, but not blowing my mind. I am really torn on whether or not to get it. @Wesker: Did you see the picture of the back of Leia's har a few pages back? You could tell it was rubber/soft plastic from that photo.

Oh, god, that's creepy. I think I'll keep the helmet on when I get it....

I join the "Not impressed with the Khetanna" group. The curve isn't as good, but I do like the cannon. The wheels are a really nice decision, and the minifigs are excellent. but we need more. They gave a $20 set, Geonosian Cannon, 4 minifigs, but a $120 set in the same theme only gets that many? R2 and Jabba don't count. I agree with giving the set 3PO or Han. They didn't give the Palace 3PO, either. I wonder how high the Barge and Skiff would have to be elevated on trans-bricks to make them related in height with each other and the Sarlacc?

To whoever has the Black Gate: Please give a video review, or at least pics of the Mouth with helmet off!

Yeah, Stephanie's hair would work great! I think the CW hair would have to be more stylized. It's basically round on top, and fringed on the bottom. New piece required for that! -

The Target I went to stinks. It didn't have the Minifigures, and they said that since the number was the same as S9's, that the number showed those in stock. That wasn't the case for other Targets, though. It's worse going somewhere without the minifigs than somewhere with the figs but no Mr. Gold. EDIT: Gold level changed to seven found in Illinois...- 1,076 replies

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 5 Discussion
8BrickMario replied to LEGOman273's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I don't want to spoil a thing, but the finale and the build-up to the end of season 5 just bugs me because of two words:canonicity gap. Not to mention the extreme differences from what loyal fans knew about EP II-III. -

Sorry to distress you! I must go to the Target that suddenly has them, the closest one to me. I am really upset with LEGO for not providing a more detailed tracker. Maybe it's because some people barely know the city they're living in? P.S. Funny how the markers on the map look like mini Target logos, as Target carries them, and a lot of people succeeded in the Gold Rush of 2013 when going there!- 1,076 replies

No, just give him Scarecrow's new hat. Dark brown. I'm not sure how they'll make him look so disheveled...

Yet another question: Based on http://images1.wikia...issSBD.jpg, what existing hairpiece do you think would work best for Barriss? I've looked, but not found anything. She has straight, long, hair, and I don't know of a piece like this. It's either wavy or braided. Any ideas? -

Another question: I just recently saw 2011's Battle for Geonosis at TRU. If it's there next time, should I get it? It has Luminara, and I don't care that she's Clone Wars. (Or that the CW Luminara's got a horribly inaccurate British accent; it makes her sound too young and not as wonderfully foreign the film Luminara sounds! CW Barriss sounds more exotic to me! OK, I lied, maybe I do care about that second part...) Anyways, the set. The reviews haven't been too influential, so I want your opinions. -

My question regards very good news indeed. Why is the 2010 Republic Swamp Speeder only going for a few cents over its retail price on Amazon.com? Is it because everyone complained about the price and Barriss being the saving grace of the set? I do want to get the old Offee, and put the new one's hood and a dark blue cape on her, to look like an even more film-like representation. But the Speeder. Why is it going so cheap on Amazon, especially since it was an exclusive and is now discontinued? -
Saw but did not get Battle for Geonosis at TRU recently! I like TRU because you can find at least one old set you're not looking for, because they sometimes have things late. I also saw Battle of Alamut and Whitecap Bay at another TRU.

What're your favorite and least favorite Star Wars minifigures?
8BrickMario replied to Darthking623's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Edit: I don't like the new Barriss. The old one is so much better! If it's only CW, like Luminara (the old one looks like a man cosplaying as her!) I'll take it, but if there's a better film version, gimme! By the way, who named Barriss? She's got four sets of double letters in her name (spell it aloud): B-A-RR-I-SS O-FF-EE!!! Lucas or whoever must'a been bored, and said "Hmm. We need a Mirialan Padawan. Let's give her as many sets of double letters in her name as we can, but within reason!" -

I'd have to say the female Jedi. The new Luminara and Barriss, Aayla Secura, Stass Allie, Shaak Ti, and the SWTOR Jedi Consular. They are fantastically detailed and eye-catching. Their skin colors, from blue to tan to red to olive green, are visually interesting, and make them stand out. Plus, Stass Allie is the first dark-skinned female minifigure. Satele is human, though, so she doesn't count.
