If I don't find him, I'll do that! Do you ever plan to remove him from his package? He could buy you a few Ewok Villages and Towers of Orthanc on eBay. I won't sell him if I find him. He's too preecioussss!- 1,076 replies

What're your favorite and least favorite Star Wars minifigures?
8BrickMario replied to Darthking623's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Now changed to the Ewok Village Leia. She did indeed use the Forest Maiden hair, and she's excellent. She certainly exceeded my expectations! I too like the new Wicket. -
Not really, because now we're hunting for the sets. Reporting that he found them is perfectly all right here!

Can someone please explain the El father-son funny, please? The others are great. The evils with the hairpiece: Draco Malfoy, Fenrir Greyback, Count Dooku, The Mandarin, that City burglar in the Museum, and Aldrich Killian! The Space Center guy isn't evil, though, and neither is Hawkeye. EDIT: Just got ninja'd with the very same "not evil" examples by Clone O'Patra! Great minds think alike!

Yeah, that's how the combo should look. The doors with the towers on either side, and then walls to the sides of those. Not two gates right beside each other with Gandalf doing "eeny-meeny-miney-mo" to choose which pair of doors to enter! LEGO should have included instructions for the proper combo.

Darn you! I'm happy for you, seriously, but I keep on being reminded that I have VIRTUALLY NO CHANCE of finding him, as ***** 12!!! have been found in my state. Yeah. Good luck, all of you. I have no idea how I would find Mr. Gold now....- 1,076 replies

Two other Marcos sets are the Spider-Man Spider-Cycle Chase and Arkham Asylum. Don't know of others, but I'm sure we all want more!
-
Ah, I see now. I shouldn't assume that SLJ isn't in every superhero movie! Bane's apparatus isn't similar enough, but we can't all make great funnies all the time.
-
Oh, I'm a bit slow. I just realized the Ben 10/Ben Kenobi pun. Brilliant! I don't understand the Bane one, though.

Thanks for agreeing with my concept! Hint:If a LEGO employee reads this, please consider it! When will the full site be up?

Oh, wow. An actor and lightsaber reference in one funny? Genius!

I hope we get a small "Theoden's Throne Room" set with Grima, a Theoden with a poisoned face and normal, and Gandalf. I'd love a poisoned Theoden, and it would be an easier way to get Grima for those who want him.

1. yellost, I used poor wording. The set is the newest version, but not new, as it is a 2011 set. To find it in retail stores will take some looking. 2. Thanks, Dragonfire! That head was familiar, as it is also used on Stan Shunpike's second variation, which I have. 3. @kbcakir: Marcos Bessa is indeed the designer of Arkham and Ewokville. (Whenever a LEGO employee discusses a set in a designer video, they made that set.) Marcos is indeed a great set designer, as Arkham, Spider-Cyle (I know this because the initials and year of birth on the license plate are the same as in Arkham), and the Village are amazing. I am really happy that he joined LEGO!

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
8BrickMario replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
I got the Iron Man polybag as well. I like Tony's face(s) a lot, and the minifigure overall is great. However, due to the slightly monochromatic look of the armor, I threw canon out the window and changed the hands to gold to make it more interesting. I wonder if the "fighting drone" is supposed to be a counterpart to the Avengers' drone in the Quinjet? -
^Why am I not surprised by that recommendation, Tolkien? Thanks for your advice. I love the London-style town house in the Pet Shop, and it is overall more appealing to me. The TH is good, but doesn't have as much charm to me.
-
I second that, Cogito. Better than the Death Star indeed. EDIT:There is a body to the Stormie helmet, as part of the most recent Sandtrooper minifigure in the new Droid Escape.

I have to say that with the reveal of 10236, Orthanc isn't as impressive to me anymore. Ewok Village is eye candy and highly playable, but architectural exclusives like Orthanc and Arkham pretty much sacrificed playability for detail. I appreciate that, but MOCs are for display. SETS were originally for play. Because 10236 is a nature scene, it can have both. And I know that the Tower sacrificed minifigures for display, too, which is a problem in hyper-detailed sets. It looks good, but aside from posing the minimal minifigures in the structure, there's not too much else you can do.

The redesigned Wicket and Chirpa are great, and the new Ewok Warrior, the old Logray and the brand new Teebo are nice as well. But the best minifig has to be Leia. There's something about the Leia minifigures that steal the set... The redhead Rebel is nice as well. Does the other Rebel's head appear elsewhere? It's nagging at me. Luke is nice as well, and the dark tan hair is an interesting and welcome decision. Before, the hair in that color only appeared on Crix Madine and the male mannequin in the Grand Emporium. There will quite a few plastic-wrapped parts what with Leia's hair, and five Ewok sandwich boards. All in tiny plastic wrappers that scissors are best for opening. And one cardboard container for Leia's cloth skirt.

No Corsair ship at my LEGO store either. This is very odd....

So here it is. Leia has the Forest Maiden hair and a skirt that makes her look really short. The slide is really nice, as it could be hero transport or villain deterrent. Love the throne, spit for roasting, and the Imperial helmet drums! I really want this, but 2013 is assaulting me with excellent sets! Slow down, LEGO!

Interesting that the Gate is in stores (just went) but not on S@H yet.

Leia looks great. Intersting skirt, but it makes her look short. So it's finally been revealed, and this one will make my money scream in pain! Lots of minifigs, playable. and aesthetically pleasing. Not going to be able to pass this up now.
