  3. I appreciate your optimism, don't let anyone here get you down. We just all disagree with you It does appear that Lego is "adding" smart brick sets to their normal line up of SW sets. Which means we are getting a crazy amount of SW sets this year. I'm worried what that kind of saturation of the market will do. This worries me. People are still buying the Turbo Tank despite it's horrible price. Now Lego releases a Smart Brick set for a "better" value. Meaning it's likely to sell better even if just by a little. That will encourage them to make more Smart Brick sets. We're doomed. I got my kids some Mario sets 2 years ago. They don't play with them very much any more. But do you know what they do? They take all the "dumb" Lego that comes with Mario and they build their own creations. That's what's going to happen to Smart Brick sets. Then that tech will set under a kid's bed until someone figures out how to hack the smart brick and install evil AI chat bots into it.
  4. As aFrinaTi0n stated, "Featured" is a button Mods can push to highlight a build. It used to auto-frontpage as well, but doesn't right now. So I've been manually front-paging but forgetting to "feature" most of the time Gotta earn my keep somehow!

  7. jayong has a video on his Instagram that shows off some of the play features. I'll say that these Smart Bricks would not make my kids play with Lego more. They play already, they don't need sound bricks to get them excited.

  9. The pictures I'm seeing on Polygon show the TIE Advance as Light Grey. The X-wing looks even worse than the leaks first showed it to be. But I am intrigued by the new canopy. Including an A-Wing with the Throne Room is an interesting choice. I still think this Smart Brick will be a horrible disaster, but I want to see more. Maybe some good parts can be got off Bricklink when these sets go on discount after not selling.
  10. Well, before we get any further into 2026 and before the Smart Brick information drops I've officially started the 2026 Discussion thread. We can now move discussion to that thread. News (substantiated rumors) should also get posted in the 2026 News Thread. The only purpose of starting a 2026 thread is to have a clean slate for discussion. It keeps things a little neater to start with page 1 for the new year and not have to go back 215 pages to find something you know you said this year. See you all over there to discuss the upcoming reveals.
  11. This thread collects all discussion about LEGO Star Wars sets; discuss your opinions here! Please read before posting: Stay on target. No wish lists. Remember that this topic is for discussing sets. If it's something you wish to see or something you think that we will see sometime in the future, but not something that's actually rumored to be an actual set, then it is pure speculation and it belongs in the Future Star Wars Sets topic. (We also have a topic for minifigures you want to see, which might be more appropriate.) Please be civil. Remember that we come from different countries, cultures, languages, and backgrounds. Give everyone the benefit of the doubt and don't be a jerk. No fighting. We strongly suggest you refrain from criticizing sets on the basis of what you imagine they're going to look like. Wait till we have pictures before you start complaining. And even then, think twice about it If you post news in this thread, it will not be transferred over to the 2026 News thread. Be smart, think about what you are posting and in what thread you are posting. This IS your warning! If you have substantiated news, you can post it in the 2026 News thread. If your news is not able to be substantiated your post will be removed. If you choose to post fabricated information; you can expect to be banned. It's not worth the fifteen minutes of internet fame. Do not post watermarked or confidential images; they will be removed and the poster will be dealt with appropriately. As stated in our Member Guidelines: This topic is for general Lego Star Wars set discussion. We will make a new topic when we feel it is necessary. If your post was on the boards, and now it's not...there is a good chance it was either hidden or moved. Off topic posts, placing info in the wrong thread, or a request from LEGO to remove something; these are all possible reasons why something may have disappeared. Eurobricks Star Wars Forum Spoiler Policy With regards to upcoming sets and rumors: Read at your own risk. This is a topic about potential items to be released. If you do not want to know, stay out of these forums!!! With regards to spoiler tags: these are not required and we will not force anyone to use them. That being said, I'm sure if you did use them, the community would be a much happier place! Please be respectful of others. If a member used a spoiler tag, their intention was to keep something quiet; it was a courtesy to others. If you choose to comment on the contents of that spoiler tag, please refrain from publicly mentioning what the contents of the spoiler were!!! With regards to movies or shows: We feel that one week from the release date is an ample amount of time for most people to view a movie. Once a movie or episode is released, we the staff, will do all we can to curb the usage of spoilers in any of the topics in the Star Wars forum for one week. If you do not see the movie or episode within one week, then you read here at your own risk. This is the policy in the Star Wars forum, going forward. If you did not agree with us in the past, so be it. From this point on, we will not police the threads unless something becomes an issue. We ask that members not mini-mod (directly telling other members how to behave ) in the thread and tell others to use spoiler tags. If something is a problem, please inform the mods by reporting it. Any questions, please ask in the appropriate thread.

  19. I really hope we get some standard Marines in this wave. The Marine Ship seems like a given to include them. I was really bummed that Koby and Helmeppo had CADET ruining the re-use of their torsos.
  20. I just finished building Barad-Dur last week and I think the design choice really works for it. I have confidence they can pull off the same with Minas Tirith.
