  1. Ladies and gentlemen we have our winners! With a grand total of 35 different entries we had some fantastic MOCs entered for this contest. Please remember that each person could only win 1 prize, so in some cases prizes went to the runner up. Grand Admiral First up, the person with the highest total score across all 4 of his entries, our Grand Admiral winner is: @Sentinel_Brix! Wretched Hive Rebellions Are Built On Hope Asymmetrical The Crew: Wretched Hive Next, our winner of the Wretched Hive category was @Thedbbuildworks: And 2nd place was @A_Goodman: Rebellions Are Built on Hope The winner of the Rebellions Are Built On Hope category was @Artizan: And 2nd place was @Eternal Maul: Asymmetrical The winner of the Asymmetrical category was @Kalais: And 2nd place was @Max_Lego: The Crew Winner of The Crew category was @Oky: And 2nd place was @Brick_Ninja: A couple extra notes, technically multiple people scored higher in the Rebellion category, but they all also won 1st place in other categories so the 2nd place prize ultimately went to Eternal Maul. But to show case those other winning entries you can see them here: Oky: Thedbbuildworks: Kalais: And similarly, Thedbbuildworks would have won 2nd place for the Asymmetrical category, but since he got first place for Wretched Hive the prize went to the next in line. But here's he' stunning entry: Thank you all for participating and be sure to check out Mysteries if you want a reason to keep building Star Wars MOCs with the community!
  2. @Jody Meyer Can you just clarify where this is posted? Your previous stories have been on Ord Biniir. Does this continue there?
  3. I'm a huge Tolkien fan. I had read the books multiple times before the movies came out. And I've read the Silmarillion a few times too. That said, Rings of Power is just okay. Season 1 was certainly beyond what Tolkien would have envisioned, but at least stayed within the spirit of what he wrote. Season 2 really started to throw Tolkien lore out the window. It's okay for what it is, but it falls short in many ways. What I love is seeing the sets because that just brings Middle Earth to life in amazing ways. The story, not so much, but the setting helps make up for it.
  4. I've moved your comments to the discussion thread (here). Please only use the news thread for posting news. Any conversation, including for future years should be had in this topic.
  5. Fixed it, I appreciate the heads up.
  6. That particular magazine is already available in France, and it comes with a sticker sheet. Maybe that's why there's a price increase? I hope that trend doesn't continue.
  7. This thread collects everything we know about 2026 LEGO Star Wars sets: If you have news, substantiated rumors (you have a source that you can name or allude to), or other information regarding new 2024 sets, please post it here. Nothing else. This is not for posting vague hints and toying with people. This is not a discussion thread, that can be found here. This IS your warning! If you have questions about what belongs in this thread, please PM MKJoshA, Brickdoctor, Clone OPatra, or another Moderator. This is for news and news only. If you choose to comment on the contents of that spoiler tag, please refrain from publicly mentioning what the contents of the spoiler were!!! With regards to movies or shows: We feel that two weeks from the release date is an ample amount of time for most people to view a movie. If you do not see the movie or episode within two weeks, then you read here at your own risk. This is the policy in the Star Wars forum, going forward. If you did not agree with us in the past, so be it. From this point on, we will not police the threads unless something becomes an issue. We ask that members not mini-mod (directly telling other members how to behave ) in the thread and tell others to use spoiler tags. If something is a problem, please inform the mods by reporting it. Any questions, please ask in the appropriate thread.
  8. Just announced, our first Bounty is live available to be collected! Build the best V-Wing you can and earn a special planet access point for your team!
  9. Have I got a deal for you! Turns out a collector is looking for an antique V-Wing from the early Empire days. If you can get me one I will make it worth your time! The Prize: If your team collects the bounty, you will get 1 XP to be placed anywhere in the Outer-Rim. If the planet is in the Outer-Rim you can place the 1 XP there. That will give you future access. The Rules: Build a V-Wing. It can be just the ship or set in a surrounding. Build it on a planet, in space, or docked in a bigger ship, anything is allowed as long as you build the requested ship. Post it like a regular build using the standard title format with the addition of the word "Bounty": [Bounty][L7 - Ord Mantell - DS] V-Wing Found Post a link to this topic. When the time runs out to collect the bounty, the highest scored entry wins. Bounty builds cannot stack with the current episode challenge for bonus XP. All rules in the Core Rules topic apply unless otherwise stated in this explanation or the rules above. The Bounty will be available from July 7th to Aug 1st. As long as it is still Aug 1st somewhere in the world, you can still enter.
  10. If you can just include a note right at the top of your post telling me to register it to Zakuul in D13 that should work. Tag me in your post when you make it and I can add a screenshot to the rules to show how to do future posts using the home base.
  11. Got it. Zakuul registered as the DS homeworld.
  12. I'm not sure that breathing straight Tibanna gas is good for the patrons, but other than that who wouldn't want to come to this bar? It's fantastic! The round shape is impressive, as is the structural integrity allowing it to float. I think you could have changed up some of your figures so they weren't straight from the Cantina set, but overall a great cast of characters to compliment an amazing MOC.
  13. All photos are showing for me. Your fighting ring for droids is great!
  14. I really like the different layers. Each has a unique story and it all ties together well.
  15. The outside looks good, but it's inside where your MOC really shines. I love all the little stories going on. And very clever of you to include a 'fresher.
  16. Built for MELO (Middle Earth Lego Olympics) on Discord. Celebrimbor is hard at work in Eregion crafting rings. Little did he know that in the future he would play party to Sauron's plan to forge rings to enslave the races of Middle Earth. Loosely based off the set from Rings of Power Season 2. I'm not a huge fan nor hater of the show. The Eregion set really impressed me so I wanted to build something using some of that aesthetic. I wanted to do so much more with this MOC, but I ran out of time. For fun I included a number of Belville pieces including the thatched windows, dishes, and silver buckets with handles.
  17. A fantastic beach scene. You've got a great combination of plates, slopes, and SNOT working together. The little details like sand exploding out from the blast radius is a brilliant touch. My only complaint is that in your first shot the bunker looks like a facade. I know it's just a result of the depth of the build, but I would recommend thinking about that for future "first impressions."
  18. Who knew Chewie was so good at painting? Nice humor in your scene and your trees look good. I think your MOC would benefit from some SNOT work for the rocks. But overall a nice build. Have you considered entering it for the Mysteries game? The Light Side would love to have you.
  19. This feels so much like an Imperial base, very well done! My only complaint is the back of the Transporter feels a little blocky.
  20. Your ship is incredible. I love the light gray plates used to create subtle lines on the top fin. Your wounded troops are cleverly built. My only complaint is the terrain, it feels more like an afterthought Though that could be because of how incredible your landing craft is making the terrain pale in comparison.
  21. I have to concur, Big Moff is my favorite and you've created a great group of smugglers.
  22. I'm sorry you ran into so many problems uploading. Everything looks good now. Feel free to send me a PM or tag me in your post if you run into trouble in the future. For this crew, it certainly looks like they fit in on Kijimi. Great continuity throughout your crew.
  23. Wow, what a great crew! Love the use of the divers helmet for Pu'szel. And your John Prut character is hilarious! I'm not sold on the Black Falcon torso, but everything else looks great.
  24. A very nice looking entry, however you're only allowed to have 5 crew members. I'll go ahead and score it by not counting the little droid on the left.
  25. Those long legs are under-used in MOCs. And are those long arms from Zurg?
