  1. My favorite has to be either the tone mine of the harbor. The river above the mine is a great addition, especially with the guy rowing and the bear underneath! The tents for the stone are also a cool touch. The harbor roofing is great! and the dock section of it works well. The horse farm is very nice as well with the fencing! Great, great build!
  2. Great job! I like the round brick walls and the window framing will polish off the effect and the tree is amazing. The lush vegetation gives a nice overgrown feel, (not sure if you were going for that, but I think its good).
  3. Great job, the bulletin board is a nice touch.
  4. Wow, you've definitely made a nice start! I really like the mix of olive, light/dark bley, and brown landscaping.
  5. Nice, the river bottom looks cool!
  6. Ah, you've decided on a name! I like it, very unique.
  7. Thanks! I really wanted something unusual.
  8. Hmm, I think pirates and castle are closely related for adventure themes, but they shouldn't coincide. We could lose some people, but I think there's a enough people already active in GoH to keep it alive some some time.
  9. Wow! That texturing is very amazing! The crack in the wall is a nice touch and the windows look great next to the earthen tones.
  10. Great job and the two different wall textures work well! The light/muted colors of the houses really evoke the desert.
  11. Nice to see you join GoH! Look forward to seeing the new talent you can provide here and today seems to be the day for new members.
  12. Welcome to the fair lands of Historica! Your figs look nice, Trooper and I'm interested in seeing story lines from both of you! I would say you joined the wrong guild, but Avalonia is kinda messed up at the moment.
  13. As a participant in the fictitious storyline of GoH, a plague is a great plot-twist! As an Avalonian Lord, you gotta be kidding me! Looking forward to the Challenge.
  14. Thank you! Thanks, I was going for a clean stone look. Thank you!
  15. Great job! I love the angled wood supports on the tower and the dark grey accents. And the fact that the wall curves a bit is very nice.
  16. Quite interesting build! And no one should mess with a bride on her wedding day!
  17. Great story! I love the black and those fire elementals are awesome!
  18. Very nice, the purple topping off the white with dark tan bits works quite well.
  19. Great build! The path look nice and I love the idea of the caved in tunnel, it definitely sounds like a good tactic. The ground plants and trees also work well.
  20. Yeah, I can see that, but what can I say, I LIKE THE GREY! Thanks, the swords were just added to break up the blank walls. Thank you!
  21. Before I start, let me say that this it what I believe to be accurate. That's mostly correct, however the winning side wins only that part of the war. Rogue may be posing one more mini-challenge, seeing as there's still a spot reserved in the first posts of this thread. I'm supposing Challenge II will have its own thread to help with Q&A organization. To help answering Capt. BB, the storyline goes like this... A group of rebels organized itself into Black Spire and began a Civil War in Nocturnus. The Nocturnians took up arms in against them which was the plot for Challenge I. Black Spire won and is now sending Drow troops to invade Avalonia. Lord Varis (rogue) has appointed DeGothia and Simon to the position of Grand Lord and tasked them with leadership of Avalonia. (Simon gets the Isles and Enchanted Forest while DeGothia gets the mainland.) Now, Challenge II will be the fight between Avalonia and the invading Drow and Challenge III will move on to the Civli War in another guild. Hope this clears things up.
  22. Great build! I really like the pull up bar and the snow on the armory roof.
  23. Stunning windows and the corners nicely accent it! Good job with the interior too; that flooring looks amazing.
  24. Great story and I love the scout posing!
  25. Thanks! Yeah, I really wanted to do a cheese slope mosaic for the floor, but I didn't have the time for it. Thank you, Narbilu, UtilityBelt, and Gunman! My idea behind the corner was that I wanted some sort of huge window like in the Telmarine Castle throne room in Narnia: Prince Caspian. As I thought about it more, I came to a rounded/nontypical corner idea that transformed into the angled corner above.
