Rick! Thanks! Never managed to find them before. I need this for modular I have planned.

I thought about the pink grocer aswell. Tan would make for a very affordable GG. I CAN't however believe those bricks with a groove don't exist in black yet.

Awesome! Plain awesome. The base and the tree look like an oil painting come to life.

Very nice build. I like the colours and the side of the mill especially. -
Great interior! It really ads to the overall build. Job well done!

Great modular. I like the second floor window section with the arches. It looks like a nice interior too. I agree about the flags aswell and would consider switching the white 'rail plates' on the top section for grey ones to ad a bit more color.

Book II Challenge III Dwarven Affairs

Got to see the grand castle in real life today. Unbelievable build! -
I find sorting extremely relaxing, it is the part after sorting that dislike with a passion: the storing. I live in a small house and my Lego is stored underneath my bed in ziplock bags inside three rolling bins. I do my sorting on my dining table. So after I am done sorting I keep walking to and fro with zip lock bags, rolling bins and individual pieces. Aaaaargh. Can't wait for a bigger house with a dedicated hobbyroom.

Thanks for the replies, glad to see I am not the only one having difficulties. -
Hi LT, What I mean by out of your comfort zone you ask? Just from the top of my head: build something modular sized, build a hardware store in a very old building, build a mountain town ski gear shop complete with cliff side construction.... Something radically different than you would normally build. Even if it turns out it is not you prefferable style it could still give you challenges, new ideas and inspiration. As you say: Brick on!!!

Awesome build! The white on sand green really pops and goes well with the gold accents.

Hi LT! You are the undisputed king of shop interiors. I've got to get something of my chest though. I sometimes get the feeling the shops you place them in serve as a showroom for the stands, displays and whatnot. The reason I feel this way is that most builds are white, with white and dark tan tiling and white counters. I feel like that with your ability to build convincing shop interiors you could build something really awesome if you step out of your comfort zone and build something grand, colorfull or something you've never build before. Catch my drift? Feel free to ignore the following and please take it as well meant advice and encouragement, not as critisism.

Wonderfull set up and amazing builds. Question: does a build for this challenge have to include ones sig fig? -
Awesome landscaping and great mounts!

Excellent stuff! The detailing on the first floor facades is great. The alley is a wonderfull idea. My only nitpick would be the scooters on the third floor of the bike shop; that is some heave lifting for minifigs :-)

Superb build! It is challenging to keep large ammounts of tan interesting but you managed to avoid this exceptionaly well! Great, great job!

The sheer size alone is impressive, the details add further awesomeness! -
Excellent modular. The refreshing colors make it stand out. My favorite detail is the display case with the wax(?) pellets, great mini build!

Very cool build! The sleigh is impressive, but the depicted story steals the show!
