  1. This is such an awesome build. The angles you manage to add to your buildings never cease to amaze me. I can keep watching this!
  2. 'Atlas as-of-yet-no-given-name' Atlas thought, 'That simply will not do'. As was tradition in the village on the smallest of the Spice Islands where he was born he had received only a first name at birth. His people held the believe that a surname should be a given name, in reference to a talent or a great deed. Now, Atlas had plenty of talents, yet non that any honourable men would want to be named after. It was time to venture in to the world and earn his given name. When he announced his departure to the elders his brother Crius Reefspear offered his company as witness to any great deeds which would be worthy of name giving. And so they went. Hi guys! This is the start of my personal adventure as well! Having never build (much) historical moc's and having no previous experience roleplaying and the writing that goes along I hope to learn lots from all the fantastic builders in GoH. Looking forward to sharing Atlas' adventures with you!
  3. Wow! I allways like the batman forever car and this is a great rendition!
  4. Cute build! The houses have a friendlier look than their real life counterparts! As to the water: the color of the canals differs depending on the weather. I'd describe it as translucent dark tan-ish with a hint of dark green and reddish brown. But since you are building a lovely version I'd go with blue for the water!
  5. Great build. It is so recognizable! The details like the miniature models and the PAB wall really make it work. Cool stuff.
  6. Thanks everyone for the replies. They clear some things up. I never realized that third party products are so popular. Now that I do I can see why they get posted on the front page.
  7. This is extremely nice. It has a very mediterranian vibe to it. The kiosk is spot on!
  8. I can't imagine building a modular without an interior. My builds allways start with an idea of the funtion of the buidling, which comes to life in both the interior and the exterior. Besides designing the interior is integral to designing the structure as a whole.
  9. Great additions. The add height suits the facade. Great work!
  10. I'd say Western. That theme ended to quickly. Allthough they might have done everything you'd expect from such a theme in that short run.
  11. Hi guys, I don't know if this is the right place for this topic and/or if it is my place to post it but I just want to share something that is a minor annoyance to me. I love Eurobricks and the way it is set up: the forums are a sprawling web of great topics and the frontpage newsposts help you by highlighting noteworthy topics, MOC, campaigns or contests which I would've otherwise missed. They let me glimpse at creations in themes I myself don't work in. So far so good. What bugs me are the occasional ads for (i.e. The recent brickarms release) aftermarket products. While I don't mind the products themselves the advertising posts about them on the frontpage, to me, stick out like a sore thumb in between alle the great creations and community activities. It's like they don't fit in. I was wondering how others feel about this. Happy building!
  12. As others have said: do as you like! I'v you want to mod, mod. If you want to create something new, create something new. If you want to display, display. As long as you keep all the bricks you can do this indefinitly amd thus keep doing whatever it is you enjoy!
  13. Wow! Really nice. I like the roof sextion and the interior is great. Where did you get the red signs from?
  14. Hi Tikicult! If I were you I'd arrange the buildings you have left along the edge of the grey baseplates. This automaticly creates a small plaza in front og the buildings. Would it be possible to place the grey baseplate with the small road in such a way that it leads to another (small) track crossing? This could be a route to the haunted house, which I like 'on the wrong side of the tracks'. Good luck and do share your progress!
  15. Thanks everyeone for the kind replies. Been thinking about a shop version of the ice cream van for a while actually!
  16. Extremely cool! So much to look at and such nice techniques used! Good stuff!
  17. Thanks LT and Alco!
  18. Get out of it... Embrace it.... There is no reason to keep in the dark!
  19. I love 16 wide modulars because of the challenge they pose in terms of available space for details, interior and ornaments. Your build has it all. I especially like the interior of the apartment. Very nice indeed!

Without a doubt one of the finest ships I've seen. Gorgeous is the word that fits her looks. Great build.
  21. Very nice! I love the attention to detail! Great job.
  22. Thanks for the kind reply Eurotrash!
  23. Hi everyone! I present to you my newest modular: 'Bob's Kabob' snackbar! For this modular I wanted to do something different. Being from the Netherlands I find most of the modular buildings rather large. The way they are build lend them very well for laying out broad boulevards and less for building the small, maze like city centers of old European towns. So decided to make this a double modular, meaning that the back of the building had to have a street worthy facade aswell. This way the building would face two streets. Let's have look inside shall we? The apartment above And the top floor And as a bonus pic: Bob's Kabob between a small square I build and my Asian restaurant. The building styles don't match but I wanted to see them next to each other. I hope you guys like it. Feedback is greatly appreciated!
  24. Wow! Thanks everyone for the replies!
  25. Interesting and inspiring techniques used! Great job!
