  1. Why not? 1) Aperture, Mafia Mafia, Silver City, CMF, Mafia After Dark 2) Yes (thank goodness) 3) Baldr, because as time goes on, I get killed earlier and earlier by scummy scummos.
  2. Thanks for the review; it was very informative! Your pictures are outstanding - they really show off the set as best as possible.
  3. Hi, K3VBOT. Welcome to Eurobricks! Your pirate ship looks like it has a good shape to begin with. I like that you're focusing on the interior by making the ship easy to open up at each end. Are you going to put a SNOT sort of skin over the bricks? I must admit, you got my attention with the comment about microwaving a minifigure - but you never said what happened to it!
  4. Well done, everyone! This contest was great fun, and congratulations to the winners!

    NEW TIE

The cockpit looks great, especially with the circle of thrust-thingies at the back. Good job, and I'll look again when you've finished it.
  6. Well done, Hoexbroe! These all look wonderful, and I really like the half-stud difference from the body to the roof on each side of the Ford Capri. After that, my favourite is the DS - the windscreen wipers for that car are really clever.
  7. Wow! I'm particularly impressed by the buildings from St. Peter's Basilica to the Palace of Westminster. I think my favourite is Rosenborg Castle. How did you achieve the columns in St. Peter's Basilica?
  8. Wait, what? That's bonkers! I bet the new clip's weaker than the old one. But other clip parts (e.g. plates) have the c-shaped clips and they seem to do all right.
  9. I don't mind this series; I mean, there's nothing special (except perhaps Shakespeare and the barista) but there's nothing terrible, either.
  10. Sometimes you have to build details into a plan you have, but often (I have found) the design of the detail determines the scale of the model and you have to build around that. It sounds like you're working on a minifigure-scale building, so you can probably make the walls and superstructure first, and then follow up with the details.
  11. Ah, no, it's definitely Sarah Jane. c.f. this picture. The distortion on the sphere looked odd, and confused me.
  12. Looks like Susan Foreman. What do you think?
  13. Looks great. I like how you made the handrails on top and, of course, included the scene for it to live in. The tank looks lovely in olive green; well done!
  14. I like the look of Captain Haddock! He looks the best out of the three. Prof. Calculus's face looks a little odd; I think his moustache and goatee should probably be taller and thinner, and also definitely black. Maybe you could make his poof of hair out of Sculpey or something? I have another suggestion for Calculus's hat, which has the sort of wavy brim it does in the comic books: the BrickArms Boonie hat.
  15. Those models are incredible - I love the different colours of the stonework and the roof on Angkor Wat in particular.
  16. I got out of the "new photo experience" by clicking on the "Help and Feedback" button on the bottom left - reversion to the old version is one of the options that comes up.
  17. This looks pretty nice! I like the gently shaped sails and the entrance to the mine shaft (or cave?) The base looks a little plain, but I don't have any recommendations on how to improve it.
  18. So many fantastic entries; it was hard even choosing nine. 10. Monster Van by Yatkuu (1 vote) 47. Air Camper by eurotrash (1 vote) 58. Buzz's Star Command Camper by Oky (1 vote) 99. 19. But you're not supposed to sell what you get from LUGbulk. I admit, I have been wondering about how Bricklink sellers generate massive inventories too.
  20. Looks great - I love the old-style feel. The petrol pumps and motorcycles look great!
  21. I echo both sentiments - I think I'll definitely pick up one (or two!) of these. And all that olive green is so pretty
  22. What's the technique to get the SNOT tiled sides in this building?
  23. I'm not sure what to think of this set - it does a fairly good job of representing the source material, but I don't like that the roof of the conference building overhangs the black border. On the other hand, I do like the half-plate offsets everywhere! Thanks for the review, Clone O'Patra; I hadn't noticed all the details you pointed out.
  24. I saw this on Flickr the other day and I thought it was amazing - it looks like it's about the size of 10019, right? Lovely build, and great job stuffing an interior into it!
