  1. Granted, you did research afterwards, but why did you immediately assume the vengeful role is a scum thingy? I'm attempting to rationalise how Petr could have been vengeful scum, otherwise we screwed up. In the post Canute linked to, Petr did say it was peculiar that Tumi hadn't voted for him but he did, on the other hand, say that Kolgrima and Patrekr were the most suspicious... Sigrid, pass the mead, will you?
  2. But looking at what I said in context, one of the reasons why Sigrid voted for Mist was because Sigrid thought voting was mandatory; voting isn't mandatory, so claiming to be pressured to vote is a terrible excuse.
  3. Naemr and Mist stood out; Wilhalm didn't. Especially because of how Mist phrased her response to Naemr's post.
  4. It was a mighty-odd vote, though, yes?
  5. That's an unfair characterisation of what I've said about Dagstyrr. I only invoked his name to make a point about relatively inactive players. Any reasons? Are you going to share with us? The rules don't say you have to vote, you know.
  6. I understand that my typo completely changed the meaning of what I said. Setting aside Naemr and Mist for now, I find the Kolgrima-Petr combo alarming, because Kolgrima is paranoid that someone will think she's in with Petr and Petr's behaving fairly oddly. I'll vote now: Vote: Petr the Half-Troll (PirateDave84)
  7. I don't know if you've noticed (I certainly have) but I've been making lots of rune-transcription errors today. What I meant to say (and take it with a pinch of salt if you like) was: "Yeah, IF the Library didn't show Mist to be a 'usual suspect' I'd have no hesitation voting for her" Naemr and Mist always seem to be the "usual suspects" very early on in the game, and that's why, despite my suspicions, I have held off from voting. Interestingly enough, I made a note in my little rune-book that you and Petr converge on the same ideas. Are you in cahoots? Feeling paranoid and trying to bus Petr? To clarify: I made a note in my rune-book before Helga brought it up and Kolgrima reacted indignantly.
  8. Have you not been reading? You're on mine. Yeah, the Library didn't show Mist tends to be a "usual suspect" I'd have no hesitation voting for her.
  9. I don't really have an opinion or, rather, I'm not informed enough to say one way or another. Yes, Dagstyrr, hasn't said anything at all today. But, since we got past ox-urine to discussion of suspicions, neither have Finn the Squinter, Chief Mursi, Patrekr the Red, Lefsi Red-Shirt, Sigrid, Chlodochar, or Petr Half-Troll (and Baulf, before Helga called him out). I'm not going to be a Helga-apologist, but I don't see anything particularly special about Dagstyrr compared to anyone else who hasn't said anything recently, and Helga obviously had certain people but not others in mind when making her contribution.
  10. I have been around, but I didn't feel a need to respond because I have transparently *not* been twisting your words. But since you asked: I know you didn't; I quoted what you and Naemr said that set me on edge - the fact is, I haven't twisted your words. All I did was notice a striking similarity in a phrase used by both you (Mist) and a well-known scumster (Paris Shawty). I put it to you that you've been reading up on how to be a scummo and have slipped up. I notice Helga and Tumi make a fair point about Wilhalm - who "stoked the flame" set by Naemr then quietly slipped out... Also, Kolgrima, would you like to express an opinion about today's Naemr-Mist-Wilhalm triangle, or will you just point out mistakes when Helga falls into an ox-urine stupor?
  11. Neither what Naemr nor Mist has said sits well with me; it's silly to suggest that this second redux'd Ragnarok shares similarities with the first, apart from certain einherjar who are back to get some more, you know what I mean? Also, going a little meta, I recall a time when someone called Janice said something fairly obvious about not ragging on people who say "Day One" sorts of things, and a scummy scummo called Paris responded almost the exact way that Mist has just now: So to wind up the most use of words Jarni use in Ragnarok so far, I'm willing to give Naemr a little slack for saying what I (and Janice) would call a "Day One" statement, so my suspcion mostly points at Mist, whose words suggest she may have been studying scummy scummo behaviour to learn some lessons for Ragnarok. Why would we need ox piss poultices for our wounds? We will have all the boar we like when Ragnarok has concluded!
  12. Just the one. But we could pretend it goes all the way across, right? Jarni once read a story about Inca peoples using urine as hair treatment. Jarni would like smooth, luscious beard locks. He want ox urine too!
  13. Jarni want to think of children. Child, he bash Jarni in head with axe so Jarni now at Ragnarok. Is it OK to eat some of the boar? Jarni hungry, he glad Servants of Loki not take it in night.
  14. Looks great! I like how you used the car tyres as a chimney, and also the white rims on the drivers and the front truck.
  15. That's exactly what I thought, too.
  16. Yes, while I don't appreciate that they I do like that they've given the programme more direction with the goal of There's been a lot of angst thrown around amongst Doctors 9, 10 and 11, so the new development is refreshing. I think they are, in a sense, rebooting the programme anew because of the new (older) Doctor. The only think I really didn't like about the special was that they
  17. But, Petr, why does "suck" not rhyme with anything in your poem, and why does the rhyming scheme change from stanza to stanza? Jarni brain hurt. Jarni bad at poetry.
  18. I made (what's supposed to be) an ice skate bauble. Thank you for the advent calendar, CopMike!
  19. Jarni ride PBR across River Styx. Jarni not sure what mythology he lives in.
  20. Well done, B Rick! The Batmobile looks groovy in that lime green colour.
  21. Wow! There's nothing more really to say about these buildings. I love the coffee shop because it's a different implementation of the corner modular unit, having a recess with a patio outside. I also like the HVAC units on top of the Menswear Shop.
  22. How stable are the really detailed walls? They look like they're mostly made of 1x2 and 1x1 pieces.
  23. The line "I'm a doctor. But probably not the one you expected" is brilliant because he isn't the doctor we expected to see in a short video like that.
  24. I had the great fortune of seeing John Mayall a month ago... it was fantastic!
  25. The orange-and-tan facade at the top is really nice - great job! But you might consider making the ground-level facade a little more detailed - as it stands, it looks fairly plain. Maybe put some bins or potted plants at the front.
