CMF Mafia 2 - Day 2 - Special Delivery
jimmynick replied to TrumpetKing's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
You did say "keen" Like Helen said, you could have voted earlier. I'm happy to claim my alter-ego, but I'm concerned that a mass claim could give away the faith healers. If the scarecrow is "10 times more monstery" than the faith healers' alter egos, then scum could guess who they are. Unless many other people here have not-monstery alter egos. -

If I understand correctly, you wrote something then quoted yourself and deleted half your post. And that's why the quotation you attributed to Lacy isn't in the thread. Is that what happened? -
CMF Mafia 2 - Day 2 - Special Delivery

It seems that Kingsley of the Starfish wasn't lying about his role now. Just as Mercutio was our host in CMF 1, so was Fluffy. I imagine the minotaur is Fluffy Jr. or something. A cop is an uncommon and weak PR, so it's not a problem to lynch a claimed cop? *Ding ding* we have a winner, folks! Can anyone else hear the bells of St. Clement's? I don't follow. The scum already know who the town are, so obviously revealing that information won't give them an advantage. Everyone knows you've claimed cop, so there's no more information to be revealed vis a vis that. Helen, I'm confused. You quoted Lacey as saying: "I tried to vote from my phone but couldn't figure out how to bold. I was around when the Starfish bandwagon was going, but it looked like the same arguments against him as you were getting, so it didn't make sense to vote again since I don't like voting for people if they claim. I would like to make sure that person is lying first. I'm back in town now and will be able to be much more active from here on out." But the post you quoted doesn't have those words in it. Are you trying to give an editorial commentary on Lacey's behaviour? -
That could be fantastic. Wonderful building.

If you want to show that Helen's claim you were trying in private to get someone lynched is false, then you should show the evidence. You say you're happy to share, so I don't see a reason not to.- 267 replies

Yikes. They must have broken many of the bricks. I hate it even when I scratch a piece.

Mikatta is listed as the "forest witch", but when she said: I interpreted it as a revelation of her alter ego. I mean, why contribute that info unless it's something that people don't know? After the fact, Mikatta herself confirmed that: No-one's driving a witch hunt against you. The first claim of Derek's, that not all of us have monstrous alter-egos, seems to hold water because of the claimed faith-healers. His second claim, that actions are related to alter-egos, is still in the air. But since the first claim is more credible than it was when I voted for him, so: Unvote: Derek Polanes (DarthPotato) If someone gets lynched, it's because there's a consensus that they're scummy. If the wagon had stayed on Derek, it wouldn't have been just your doing. I was in there, You're very self-aware, and it that looks like you have something to hide. So: Vote: Kingsley of the Starfish (KingoftheZempk)- 267 replies

Dio mio, there's been a lot of talk! Back in the days of the Spanish Inquisition, head-chopping was not by democracy. If Derek is town, then he's extrapolating from one datum. If he's scum, you're right, he has a large enough data set to generalize. The correlation of alter egos and roles was a game breaker last time, so if this time I were given, say, "Fortune Teller" and "Cop" I should think it's by coincidence, not by design. I (and I think anyone else) wouldn't extrapolate from one sample to the population. The fact that Derek has insisted that alter egos correspond to roles suggests he has inside information. On Day One, that says scum. I'm keeping my vote where it is.- 267 replies

Not that she suggested we reveal alter egos, but that she backtracked so swiftly. I think Sally either: -Doesn't want to reveal having a non-monster alter ego; -Doesn't want to accidentally claim the same monster as someone else. Case 2 comes out of Case 1, and in both cases she's scum or a neutral. People had been pointing fingers at Sally earlier in the day; I want to keep her in mind. She is by no means a better lynch than Derek. Scummy claim - best lynch: Vote: Derek Polanes (DarthPotato)- 267 replies

Well, we're all WIFOMing the host. Someone could investigate Derek, but I'm not about to presume that a PR would follow advice from the thread. Lynching is the easiest way to solve the WIFOM, I think. I can't say we have any better choices at this juncture. Better choices for the lynch, I mean. There's Sally, who suggested we reveal our alter egos while insisting that wasn't what she meant, but Derek has claimed a suspicious alter ego.- 267 replies

Well, last time the town's alter egos were townie sorts of things, and the scum's alter egos were monster-y sorts of things. It would make sense if the alter egos were in a similar vein this time i.e. town have monster alter egos and scum have townie sorts of alter egos. I suppose you're hinting you don't have a monster alter ego, but still are town.- 267 replies

I've had a long day of head chopping and I'm glad to be back! If I chopped your head off, then your hair would never be damaged again. Wouldn't Henry appreciate that? I could chop your head! Or, at least, I could pour some of Helen's whiny wine on your neck to look like I chopped you. No, we're shredding (and head-chopping) the Council people. They're hiding amongst the monsters, see?- 267 replies

I think it's much better and simpler to chop chop the heads of and stick 'em on poles. *off -
Yeah, I have a bunch of K'NEX from way back, and it was such fun to play with. I remember there was a lunar rover set, cost about $20. That was great fun to build and play with.

Hello, everyone! I'm Jeffrey Norris, the conquistador. I pillaged Peru and Mexico beside Pizarro and Cortez. I've decided it's more fun to behead people than to collect rooms full of gold, though. Pizarro was my first try, but I accidentally stabbed him in the back instead. Let's be best corrupt buds, Timothy! -
Wow! The facade is lovely, and is really helped by the grille 1x2 and 2x2 round bricks. I also like the SNOT floors in the lounge and bedroom. Using the pneumatic t-bars as door handles is very clever. I don't know what LEGO store you go to that has that many PaB bins, though!

I always tell myself I have real life things to do, but here goes: 1) The Werewolf from Series 4; 2) 19th Century England or 20th Century Vietnam; 3) 6 games. 4) When I started making a little group in Silver City, then I got murdered. 5) I want to try out lurking as a strategy, but yes. Definitely yes.

My MOCing attention seems focused on buildings. Last time I checked, buildings don't swoosh very well. It's a bit of a shame.

Unfortunately, 7 plates is 1/2 a plate less than three studs, so it won't ever really line up at the ends. You could make a 4-stud-long flag, though. That would make the SNOT nice. -
I've got 3 or 4 projects in mind... I've planned one in LDD already, am busy on another, and the other two are flights of fancy. I need to buy the pieces to put them together! That should be my resolution: spend more on LEGO. The only thing I bought last year was the 7965.

No, you're not. I wonder why the poster is different.

If it's a spaceship, does it have to have wings? I like the outline you've made - you could make that solid. Perhaps for the troop compartments, you could do something like shipping containers? They could fit into the belly like the central part of Thunderbird Two. I can imagine two blocky containers, possibly in a contrasting colour such as dark blue or tan, side by side in that square hole in the underbelly of your ship. And welcome to Eurobricks!
