I received my LOTR figures today! I'm very excited about them; thanks again Copmike, for organizing the raffle!

CMF Mafia - Day 4 - Fluffy
jimmynick replied to TrumpetKing's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Wow! I'm very impressed that we took down 2 scum yesterday and in the night, and that there's been no scum kill. Now we just need to take down the last scum or two - I'm feeling Mikatta and Hottie McHotterson. -
Very clean build! I like the use of the brick texture which is accurate to some petrol stations, but I've rarely seen in LEGO. I can't tell what the texture is on the roof over the pumps, but it looks like it isn't level. What are you going for there?

Did this minifig hair ever exist in real life?

My intuition is that it's a sawn-off pigtails piece. -
CMF Mafia - Day 3 - The Mermaid's Song
jimmynick replied to TrumpetKing's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I've already noticed Sally's trust problems today, and since she's Fluffy Wumpkins, that makes me doubly (or triply, or extra-) suspicious of her. Unvote: Mikatta (Mencot) Vote: Sally Carrotine (Scubacarrot) -

Why did you believe Derek's claim by the end of Day 1 but not unvote him? -
CMF Mafia - Day 3 - The Mermaid's Song
jimmynick replied to TrumpetKing's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
He/she certainly is adorable (just look at those eyes!) but what Helen has paraphrased from conversations with Fiddle-Wumkins is pretty suss and self-contradictory. I hope Fiddle-Wumkins gets back to Helen so they can sort it out one way or another. We can't vote for Fiddle-Wumkins in the absence of a name, but I am suspicious of Minkatta for a number of reasons. She's responded to my accusation by saying: The very quotations I provided in my accusation indicated that Minkatta continued her hard line against Derek after he claimed. And, of course, I want to get rid of the scum, so I Vote: Minkatta (Mencot) Do you have an opinion about this claimed but inconsistent tracker, Fuddly-Wubbles? -
CMF Mafia - Day 3 - The Mermaid's Song
jimmynick replied to TrumpetKing's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I've gone back to read this Peter-Mikatta thing, and I think "want to get rid of Derek" is a misrepresentation of the conversation. Peter 'trusted' Derek more than anyone else at the start of yesterday. Later, when Kelly claimed she was investigated, Peter said: In fact, Mikatta, you "want to get rid of Derek" quite a bit in Day One, even after Derek claimed cop. I really don't know where you're getting this Melinda-Peter-Derek thing. Could I say you "want to get rid" of Peter? -

No, I haven't been cursed. Re: Mikatta, I don't think drawing the Witch as both a character and a role is far-fetched. Also, I'm interested in why Timmy is so convinced you're town, and why Sally isn't (especially since she's been talking about PMing you, which gives only you information that she has). You have nothing to show for all the hard work you claim to have done. Surely you have something? -

Why? You intimated earlier that you were brimming with leads. Where have they gone? Why? Why? -
CMF Mafia - Day 3 - The Mermaid's Song

You must realize that I don't post in a vacuum and information changes as time goes on. At the start of the game, there were (or I had) two assumptions: Monsters have monstrous alter egos and Council have townie alter egos; A player's alter ego is related to that person's night action. Derek claimed to have a non-monster alter ego. By Assumption 1, he is a council person. That's when I made the first post you object to. Next, two people claiming to have non-monster alter egos (and also to be faith healers) claimed to Helen. I believe those claims because the first faith healer said there was another, and Helen called for a claim, which she got. By that point, Assumption 1 is dead and wrong. So we can't suppose that Assumption 2 is correct after all. But Derek insisted that night actions were related to alter egos (his in particular). That's when I made the second post you object to. If Kelly wants us to believe something, she'd jolly well better put some evidence behind her claim. Sally stopped blipping on my radar. There was just that one thing I thought was suspicious, and no-one was very interested in following up on it. No, not really. You aren't helping your cause like this. -
Oh! I really like those Arctic sets - they look like a fun new reboot of the old Arctic theme, which was very fun itself.

CMF Mafia - Day 3 - The Mermaid's Song
jimmynick replied to TrumpetKing's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Yesterday, Mikatta accused Bleeb of throwing spaghetti at the wall until it stuck, but her own ramblings were much the same. I called her out on it. Also, Hottie McHotterson posted only three times and pretended that the reason many of us voted for Bleeb was because he hammered the vote; all along, the argument against Bleeb had been that he hammered and then accused Timmy of making him hammer. I think Mikatta and Hottie are good places to start. -
CMF Mafia - Day 3 - The Mermaid's Song
jimmynick replied to TrumpetKing's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I'm very happy that our zombie killed ate Lacey; 1 scum down is a good result. But the loss of the investigator is a real setback. I still don't know why Bleeb turned on Timothy for pushing Kingsley's lynch, when Bleeb was the one that hammered. I suppose we'll never know. Let's get to chopping the heads off the remaining scum! -
Congratulations on the climb; I'm sure it was fun but exhausting! The Hulk doesn't look too happy to stand on a rock, though.

CMF Mafia 2 - Day 2 - Special Delivery
jimmynick replied to TrumpetKing's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
It's not my fault I was dealt the Evil Knight. The minifigures used are obviously limited by what Mercutio owns. A priori, no-one would know that many of the alter-egos in this game hadn't been used before. Lying about having the Evil Knight, I think, is just as risky as lying about having another monster, such as the vampire bat. Or the alien villainess. Or the space villain. You get the point. Would you care to share, or will you do that thing where we have to take on faith everything you say? -
CMF Mafia 2 - Day 2 - Special Delivery
jimmynick replied to TrumpetKing's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Well, if she had volunteered the fact she had been investigated as a Monster, we perhaps would have been more willing to trust her. At any rate, I still trust Derek over her; there are plenty of ways to mess with an investigation, but if Derek has been lying, why haven't we seen a counter-claim? -

Very good representation of the original building. I really like your solution for the cupola, with the offset studs. The offset studs are also a good solution for the windows. No recommendations for improvement; you've really hit the mark here. -

Bleeb usually lurks and doesn't say much, but yesterday he hammered the lynch on Kingsley and today turned around and basically blamed you and Timothy for making him do it. Furthermore, you've indicated Bleeb has spent time airing his suspicions to you rather than in thread. In short, he's behaving differently in this situation than he usually does, and his behaviour has been scummy. -
CMF Mafia 2 - Day 2 - Special Delivery
jimmynick replied to TrumpetKing's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I wonder? And how did Helen respond? You're right. Timothy and Helen were pushing for the lynch, but you gave it to them. It's been gone over today while I was chopping heads, but it's got to be really easy for a scum to come in and hammer a lynch when two people are asking for it. And then you blamed Timothy when Kingsley showed up town, but I'm sure you knew that when you voted. To paraphrase you: Vote: Bleeb (Bob) -
I like this! It's a nice take on what the LEGO people play with in the movie. I must say, I really like the Sand Cat - it looks really like the original Unikitty and it conveys the spirit of the beach. That, and it looks a bit like Mermaid Man.

I recall there was a spat between you and Helen yesterday. I know I shouldn't put my faith in Helen because she hasn't been confirmed, but neither have you. Why should I trust you over Helen? Why should I trust either of you at all?
