  1. My project (The Twist and Whirl Ride) has reached 1000 supporters and received an offical comment from Lego! I am so thrilled!
  2. Gary, you are a fountain of knowledge. I want to raid a Lego model shop now.
  3. You can sell it to someone here. I was able to get one, but it would be awesome if you reached out to someone who wasn't able to.
  4. I might suggest the depth of the recess is such to make it compatible with system dimensions. Perhaps a future development in new head-gear, or what seems perhaps more likely to me, is more extensive use for those molds such as the use in clear as street-lights in the module sets. We may see these used more commonly in future sets not as heads, but in other places where it may be easier, or more properly, facilitated having the recess as a depth limiter. I agree also. If, in fact the Lego piece were stuck in such a manner that the only air to the lungs were to pass through the very small, and very restrictive hole in a minifig head, it would not be enough to breathe properly. Just put one up to your lips and try breathing through one, see how long you can do it. This is why I have always been skeptical of that claim.
  5. That is very cool, the interior details really stand out for me.
  6. The ships are equipped with LRAD systems, which is basically a narrow and directed sonic blast. I thought I had seen a video where a cruise ship used it against some pirates in a little boat, but can't locate it now.
  7. Why is the 4x10 trans-clear brick only available in Japan? Do they have sets we can't get? Are there other exclusive bricks that they have? Do we (in the US) have bricks exclusive to our market? Is there a whole another world and market of Lego I did not know about? I'm astonished, and so curious, but more importantly how can I get one?
  8. That is such a beautiful gesture, and beautiful model. Totally made me smile.
  9. That was one of the most enjoyable reviews I've read. I like your writing style, thorough descriptions, and wonderful, clear photos. Your effort is greatly appreciated. I feel the set is remarkable for its evoking the sight of the UN buildings. It is nicely done, and I like the scale size. The ground elements even look fine to me, the only thing bothering me about this set, is the use of the levers as flags. They just look like poles. Like city street lights, or telephone poles, or just empty flag poles. It takes more imagination to fit those in than I like a finished product to be (I only criticize here because I hold myself to the same standards). To provide a suggestion, perhaps minifig arms in various colors to grip the levers at the top at 90 degrees (parallel to the ground); Reds, purple, green, white, orange, black, etc...
  10. Maybe use one of the small slopes (connected to the front of the vehicle by SNOT method)
  11. Radar92, that is amazing. I love your collection there, and would love to see it in more detail. Excrutiating detail, it looks like you have taken a lot of time to design and build those.
  12. Dang, I love the Maersk blue color. I have (possibly) the largest single (private) collection of Maersk blue headlight bricks (over 1000).
  13. I am hopeful for the Lego Birds project to make it into a set.
  14. Thank you!
  15. Please, please, please let TLG make several sets for this theme. I love it!
  16. That is a very well done. It looks amazing.
  17. At the time of this writing, it shows "available now" in US market.
  18. Awesome! And given your name, this model is perfect to have been made by you. It looks great.
  19. Life-sized!!!? OMG, that is amazing!
  20. Am I correct in my determination that this model does not include any parts in Maersk Blue?
  21. I love the walls on the building, what a very clever technique.
  22. I don't like that some people were able to obtain dozens of this very limited set. If it was in my ability to do so, I still wouldn't. You are all m fellow Lego fans, and we are a community. I just want to help each-other, not exploit the community and hoard sets other members desire and rape them on the price.
  23. Denver CO. :)
  24. Wow, some of the submissions are incredible. I am rather fond of the Blade runner entry, as soon as I saw it my mind recognized it as the spinner car from that movie. I also really like that movie.
