It looks so great in the city scene. Great idea. -
Oh Wow! That is stunning. You are an artisan for sure, that is beautiful recreation.

That is so cool. Can you help a person re-create this? I'd love to put something like this in the mini makerfaire coming up in my region in October. Thanks.

Good luck with that, I have tried a couple of times to contact the developer and give him money to unlock the software, but all requests have gone unanswered.

I'm disappointed I did not go to brickworld and get to see this model. I have started a savings for the parts. :)

I am certainly smart, but not educated. I graduated valedictorian from my high school, but despite everyone best efforts, immediately after graduation I only wanted to feed my drug addiction so far as to end up homeless. While all my old friends went off to college and create careers and lives for themselves, I just wanted to get high and now had the time to do it all day, every day. I'm over it now, and presently I'm the only employee in my company without a degree.

You need to edit the XML slightly to import quantities. In the XML document (generated from or for a wanted list) the quantity field is <MINQTY> , but do a find-and-replace to change it to <QTY> and the values will then appear in brickstore when you import the XML file.

Bold predictions on the future of Cuusoo...
dvsntt replied to The Real Indiana Jones's topic in Community
I just wish that Lego would recognize my models are designed with their philosophies in mind. My models are intended to be played with by children, but can also be enjoyed by adults, and are playful, whimsical and also include motion and engineering techniques. I'm perhaps also worried they will make a product similar to mine before I get to 10,000 votes. -
That is so cool, I love the enhancements that make it look "alive".

Yes, that is one of the features that is enabled in the commercial version.

Bold predictions on the future of Cuusoo...
dvsntt replied to The Real Indiana Jones's topic in Community
Your predictions sound reasonable to me. I also feel that would benefit my project greatly since it is largely more popular with the general public and children (it is on display at a museum right now, and I love the letters I get from kids) than the sets that cross interests, like the Zelda, Portal, BTTF and Ghostbuster themes which attracted people not usually into Lego to sign up to support the model(s). -
Should TLC stop photoshopping their pictures?
dvsntt replied to merman's topic in General LEGO Discussion
The thing that bothers me the most is the stylized renderings of the CMF's that show them with their legs are bendy and stuff. I initially thought they were prodcuing legs like that, similair to the legs in the McDonalds\Batman minfigs. Being that it mislead me, I am annoyed by that. -
Thanks for clarifying those points also. I think I can visualize what you are talking about, but am not going o be too concerend abotu it now, I'll turn my attention to that when I have gotten to that point in the structure. At this point, I'm just trying to figure out my budget and which daily meal I can go without, and for how long, to afford the 8000+ pieces of this model. I don't know if I have mentioend it, but this is the most beautiful and incredible Lego model I've ever seen..in my entire life.

Thank you so much, I am attempting to obtain the parts to create my very own one of these. I have a concern though. Your model requires 4 part 11213 in dark red, which is not avilable on BL. Did you obtain these from S@H or substitute them later for another color? Thanks.

I had an opportunity to go through a large assortment of bricks donated by Lego for our local museum and build som preliminary models for them. about 75% of the cheese weedge pieces were split in the middle. You could not see it until you put it on a stud, and that spread the part and you could see the hairline crack\split down the center of the slope.

Very cool, I like to variety of the crowd, lol.

I think I was also disaapointed by the design when I first saw it, but I am going to refrain from passing judgment until I have it in hand. I love BTTF, so am really looking forward to this.
