And what about sorting by "relevevance"? Relevant to what exactly, and I don;t understand what that is doing.

Hi Victor, I am sorry I did not notice yoru reply until now. The gears have an axle that comes through the platform, and attaches to the shells. I will try to fnd time to make some instructions for this set. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/18203

I can't wait to get this set. I love the Ferris Wheel and Carousel that Lego made. 2 of my absolute favorite sets. I even submitted a Tilt-A-Whirl ride on Cuusoo, because it is my favorite ride and I really want to see a whole theme of the carnival.

I encounter errors when trying to follow someone using Firefox, but I found that it does work with Chrome. Oh and also the Discover page is not loading for my on Firefox, but does in Chrome. Maybe it is my system though.

Best computer spec?
dvsntt replied to grum64's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I work with Linux, Unix, Windows and Macs. All of them have their benefits and their drawbacks. The mac does have a really nice experience to it, that is much more polished and pleasing than the others, and a great user community that comes with it. I think you will love it. -

The most sophisticated Spirograph ever! That is awesome. -
Selling copied MOCs

That is a very go I understand your point, and I'd like to entertain it for a moment. Starting with the most basic ideas of the premise, the arrangement of Lego pieces is copyrightable product. To keep it simple, and even in context, might I copyright the arrangement of a 2x4 brick on top of another 2x4 brick, therefore having a legal basis to pursue any other design infringing on that copyright? Of course, I realize how absurd that sounds, however In your comparable context, a musician certainly can copyright an arrangement of only 2 notes (I can think if Intel that, well, actually has 4), but other companies have a trademark on a single tone (Apple trademarked 432.4 Hz). We could certainly attempt similar endowments (unlikely as it may be, as we are a proud community of sharing and learning from each-other, but I'm putting doubt aside) but it just seems like opening a can of worms to me, that would have no benefit to the community at all. Now if I may address my initial belief, which is (or was) that I do not believe you could copyright a Lego model itself (the directions you produce to make it, certainly, and I think we agree on that). That is, I had an impression that the patented design of the Lego product(s) (where applicable) is not altered, or indistinguishable enough to serve as an original product, such as if one were to connect a macbook pro to an ipad with a lightning cable, and attempt to copyright that design. I am however, still struggling with the idea (say they gut the ipad and use its parts to decorate the macbook pro, maybe its art now?). I consider photographs and artwork is applicable for copyright, and many a Lego creation is certainly art. But then, is nobody to be able to reproduce in part or in whole any portion of the Lego model? That's a slippery slope. This is why there are always lawyers involved in these industries with these practices. I'm sure I don't want to see it come to that at least. -
I have had that occur as well, where a seller just is not motivated to collect money, or to ship the merchandise already paid for. Leave a non-positive feedback is your only ability to let other people know, and to perhaps consider another shop.

I wish it had the old windows with the lip on them. -

The Intel Iris Graphics comes in 2 flavors; standard (5100) and pro (5200). The pro version is comparable to an Nvidia GeForce 645m or an AMD Radeon 6850m, far surpassing the minimum specs of equivalent to a Nvidia 5200 or AMD 7500. I am not entirely certain on the standard specs of the Iris Graphics, but I would suspect it is also capable of running Sr3d or LDD without issue. Also, you have 14 days to return it to an apple store, no questions asked, if you are unsatisfied with it. -
This is a model of the house I just bought and moved into with my wife. This is our dream home: Download .lxf here.

I cannot find part: www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=2580c01 in LDD. Does it not exist?

Coloring Printed Parts

That Rit dye will not last long. It fades from clothes after a couple of washes. Grateful Dyes might work better. -
Perhaps it is an O/S issue. I am running it on Windows XP with .net framework 4.0 (4.5 is not available on XP I believe). I will be in my office tomorrow with many different Windows versions and will try it on Win7 and Win8 to see what results I get. Also I get 389 5-vendor combinations (worldwide search) after removing the 2 brown parts.
-
oh yes!
-
I've checked it after about an hour of running, and it seems to have "hung" on the first step. The output displays this "Getting Price Guide information for Brown" I have restarted it, and selected the "logon for priceguide info" and have had the same results. Is there a log file you would like me to send to you for review? Thanks. It seems to be specific to one or mroe of the brown parts in my wanted list, Removing all the brown pieces has allowed the utility to run. I will investigate it further and see if I cant provide better details.

The details are so incredible. I am truly and deeply impressed by this.

I can confirm that I am able to import and work with my wanted list from BL. Running now looking for Vendor solutions! Thanks again! Oh, and the blacklist feature is so perfect. That really improves my ability to zero in on my desired preferences. Thanks so much for making this available to the community, I donated 10 USD to you via your paypal link.

LEGO® CUUSOO 空想 - Turn your model wishes into reality
dvsntt replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
It will make it with that kind of groundbreaking entry into Cussoo. I'm excited! -
I cannot locate the old style windows (part 453b or 453bc01 on BL). Can you confirm if these are not available? Thanks.

I just started to model my new home in Lego! Despite it being rather mundane, and perhaps not a "dream" house, I still will submit it with pride when finished, and maybe earn some points for similarities to the actual home. Very cool!

You need a certain number of posts I believe to start a thread in the for sale section.

Oh thanks, that is some clever work. I am picking it apart in LDD now. It is very well done.
